It’s no secret that Khloe Kardashian has been working to perfect her body and is proud to show it off. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 31, has been focusing on her health and fitness over the last few years, after her split from her ex-husband, Lamar Odom. She certainly has not been shy about showing off her progress and inspiring all of her fans and followers on her social media. It looks like Khloe will be starring in her own reality series, one perfectly tailored for her love of fitness. Revenge Body With Khloé Kardashian, the six-episode series for E!, is going to feature “makeovers of scorned exes looking for the ultimate transformation, inside and out,” according to the press release.
“Looking great is always the best revenge,” says Khloe in the press release. “It’s so exciting to be able to mentor these people through their full-body makeovers, and I can’t wait to see the incredible results at their final reveals!” In each episode, two people, unsatisfied with their lives and body image, will get the chance to transform themselves with the help of Hollywood’s top trainers and hair and makeup stylists, all brought together by Khloe Kardashian herself. She appeared on the September issue of Women’s Health and did an interview with WomensHealthMag.com where she went into detail on when she began working on her body and what was driving her to do so.
“It started around 2012. I was having a hard time with [husband at-the-time, NBA star] Lamar [Odom]. It was toward the end of our union, and there was so much drama. I needed a release. At first it was so hard. It was baby steps, but I started feeling so much better. It’s just as much for all my critics who called me ‘the fat one’ for my entire existence. The first 45 days you’re like, ‘F*** this s***.’ You’re exhausted, you’re sore, and I actually felt fatter because I was swollen. If you keep going, you’re eventually like, ‘Wow, is that an indentation on my arm?’”
Earlier this summer, Khloe Kardashian also wowed the internet when her cover for Complex‘s August/September issue dropped, where she also talked about her exercise regimen in an interview.
“I have Gunnar Peterson who I love and adore. I went to SoulCycle this morning, and I went to Gunnar after too. I did that twice this week and I’ve never done that before. Now I feel exhausted. I like when you’re dripping. I’m not working out to still be cute. This is my sexiest shoot because I think I’ve never felt as comfortable in my own skin than as I have now, but I still said to Tracy and Kim, ‘I don’t think I’m ready for this, this is too much pressure.’ Even my producer who’s there, who’s been with me since season one, which was nine years ago, she said, ‘This is the best I’ve ever seen you look,’ and it feels so good to finally like get to a place that I never even thought I could be.”
The transformation of Khloe Kardashian doesn’t stop there. She has become an author of a lifestyle book called Strong Looks Better Naked, where she offers fans some details on her meal plan. The book also includes various lifestyle and stories of Khloe’s personal struggles with her body her overall self-image.
“I am so excited about sharing my philosophy on how I live and the power of strength,” Khloe said. “I hope to be an inspiration to readers everywhere on how they can create their own true strength and beauty inside and out.”
Revenge Body is not the only television project Khloe Kardashian is working on. She is also preparing to host a primetime talk show called Kocktails with Khloe, which will see its debut on January 20, 2016, on FYI.
