Lamar Odom Update: Khloe Kardashian Confronts Kris Jenner After She Gives Former NBA Star Her Number On ‘KUWTK’
Lamar Odom was once again a hot topic for his estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, on last night’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 11. During the show, as reported by Yahoo TV on December 14, Kardashian was seen confronting her mother, Kris Jenner, after learning that Jenner had given Lamar Odom her phone number behind her back.

“For the past two years, if I need to reach [Lamar Odom], I can’t. But he could always reach me if he needs something. His phone calls,” Kardashian explained of Lamar Odom. “Then he started calling me at all hours of the night. It’s always a one sided relationship.”
Lamar Odom wed the reality star in September 2009, but in 2013, amid rumors of his alleged drug use and cheating, the couple parted ways. Then, in December of that same year, Kardashian filed for divorce. However, due to the couple dragging their feet on the paperwork for their divorce, it hadn’t yet been finalized when Lamar Odom was hospitalized in October, which left her in charge of making his medical decisions.
Although Kardashian has been separated from Lamar Odom for some time and even changed her phone number in an effort to get some space from their relationship, she’s always had a soft spot for Lamar Odom. Still, when she discovered her mother, Jenner, had been speaking to Lamar Odom behind her back, via text message and FaceTime, Kardashian wasn’t happy and confronted her mother on the show.
“You and I need a major break from each other,” she told her mother.
“It infuriates me and it hurts my feelings. I love that love that she has for him… but sometimes you have to keep relationships separate,” Kardashian added during a confessional, according to a People report.
“I don’t know, the whole thing just sucks. [Lamar Odom] can’t commit to making us better so I have to now step away and do what’s best for me.”
After receiving a phone call from Lamar Odom, Kardashian accused him of “being in cahoots” with her mother, and her sister Kim was also upset about her mother’s meddling — especially when it occurred after Kardashian had “finally got the balls to divorce him.”
After hearing what her daughter had to say about her communication with Lamar Odom, Jenner told Kim to not “make such a big deal out of it,” which prompted Kim to reprimand her for sounding “so stupid.”

Although Kardashian wasn’t in a great place with Lamar Odom when scenes for Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 11 were filmed, she is now in a much different place. Following Lamar Odom’s hospitalization in October, Kardashian, as well as her sister Kim and mother Kris, flew to Lamar Odom’s side in Las Vegas, where the former athlete had suffered a drug overdose while partying at a legal brothel nearby. Since then, Kardashian has remained dedicated to Lamar Odom’s recovery, which is taking place in Los Angeles at West Hollywood’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (the same hospital where Kim recently gave birth to her second child, Saint West).
