Jennifer Lawrence Rushes to Help Fainting Woman

Jennifer Lawrence might play lead heroine Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games trilogy, but now it looks like she’s brought that heroic role to real life as she ran to the aid of a woman yesterday.

Lawrence, was said to be outside of her Santa Monica complex when a woman who was walking past her suddenly collapsed to the ground on the grass and fainted. Jennifer Lawrence and another stranger, came to her aid and tried to get the woman to come to before calling the paramedics. At one point the actress picked up the woman’s phone in an effort to call her family to notify them of what had happened.

By the time the whole ordeal was over, six police officers were reportedly at the scene to assist the woman. Later on the woman, who remains unidentified, was given the a-okay by medical staff. It is said that Jennifer, and her mother, Karen, were walking the family dog when the incident occurred outside of Lawrence’s complex.

When Jennifer Lawrence isn’t busy being a hero in her day-to-day life, she’s gearing up for the second installment of The Hunger Games trilogy. It was reported a few weeks ago that the second installment, Catching Fire, will be directed by Francis Lawrence, which will be shooting late this summer.

So far there’s been a lot of casting rumors over who will play the new additional characters Johanna and Finnick. Names like Step Mom’s Jenna Malone, and Grey’s Anatomy’s Jesse Williams have been linked to the two roles. No further announcements have been made on behalf of the trilogy.
