It is directed by Sean Olson and written by Margaret Base, Mary Glenn, Sam Irvin, and three others. Denise Richards plays the role of Amy, along with Patrick Muldoon as Jack. It also stars Jake Busey as Dylan, Parker Stevenson as Don, and Catherine Hicks as Aunt Linda, according to Extra.

A Christmas Reunion Movie Synopsis

Filmed in Los Angeles, California, A Christmas Reunion centers around Amy, a big city processional who is aggressively moving up the corporate ladder. Her work doesn’t go unnoticed, since she is increasing the profits at her agency by 25 percent. Because of her knack for spearheading successful campaigns, her boss is offering her the chance to become partner at the firm. But her joy turns to sadness when she finds out that her aunt Linda has died. When Amy arrives to hear the reading of the will, she is shocked to learn that her aunt has left her the entire estate, including the cars, the home, and the bakery business. The kicker is that she sees her ex-boyfriend, Jack, at the meeting and learns that Aunt Linda insisted that Amy share the estate with him. It seems that Aunt Linda remembers Amy and Jack’s precious relationship when they were children and believes that they were always meant to be together. Aunt Linda also makes one more request— that Amy and Jack reopen the bakery and present a 50th annual Christmas Cookie Bake for the community.

With only a week to get the bakery open, Amy is in hot water with her boss in New York, who is demanding that she returns at once. The question is, does she really want to return to be partner at the agency? In working closely with her ex, Amy’s feelings begin to change as she sees the importance of fulfilling her favorite aunt’s dying wish while enjoying a revival of her relationship with Jack.

A Christmas Reunion is a beautiful and sentimental movie that explores the endearing relationships that are built during childhood. It also explores past loves and dealing with the death of a loved one around the holidays. This one isn’t as lighthearted as some of the other Christmas movies. Be prepared to shed a few tears during tonight’s premiere.
