Karrueche Tran Dating DJ Morten After Chris Brown Split, Duo Have Been Together ‘For A Few Weeks’

Karrueche Tran may have admitted to not being “mentally” ready to start dating again after calling it quits from Chris Brown earlier this year, but it looks like Tran is now able to move on from her former relationship with Brown, while new reports confirm that Karrueche is dating Danish DJ Morten.

Sources close to Karrueche Tran reveal to ET that Karrueche and Morten have “been dating for a few weeks,” with dating rumors surrounding the duo heating up as recently as Friday after Karrueche and Morten were spotted attending the KURIOS – Cabinet of Curiosities Cirque du Soleil show in Los Angeles.

Karrueche and Morten’s date night out marks their first public outing as a couple. The duo were later spotted at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood, where Justin Bieber was seen giving an unannounced performance on the piano for guests.

While neither Tran nor Morten have spoken out about their budding romance on social media, fans have already taken to the model’s most recent social media photos to congratulate Karrueche on her new relationship.

The news comes just weeks after Karrueche Tran opened up to Kontrol Magazine about her inability to romantically move on from her tumultuous past with Chris Brown, despite the drama surrounding their breakup.

Karrueche Tran ended her four-year relationship with Chris Brown in March after learning that Brown had fathered a child with model Nia Guzman. While Karrueche previously hinted at the possibility of reconciliation with Brown, sources close to the model insist that Karrueche and Chris are not getting back together.

When asked if she’s explored dating following her split from Brown, Karrueche admits that she’s “not sure if I’m mentally there just because of all the stuff that I’ve been through,” noting that it’s “a lot to open up to somebody.”

“I think some people are intimidated by the drama [from my past relationship] and not wanting to deal with it because it’s an ongoing story,” Tran explains, “I’m very guarded and very to myself.”

While it appears Karrueche has found comfort in her new romance with Morten, fans are also eager to see if Chris Brown will comment on Karrueche’s relationship with the DJ.

Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran have engaged in several online feuds since their split, with most centering around Brown’s jealousy over seeing Tran cozy up to new guys following their breakup.

The most notable occurrence began just two months after Brown and Tran’s split when Karrueche took to Instagram to share a photo of herself hanging out with model Tyson Beckford. While Tran insisted that she and Beckford are nothing more than friends, Brown lashed out at Tyson on social media before later apologizing to the model for his reaction.

Chris Brown recently reflected on his feud with Tyson Beckford in an interview with Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning, telling the radio show that he was “being insecure” over seeing Karrueche cozy up to another guy while she continued to ignore his phone calls.

“Someone else was taking a picture with my girl and I wasn’t getting a chance to talk to her.”

Despite the drama surrounding their relationship post-breakup, Chris Brown admits that he wants nothing but the best for Tran and her career in the future, “Much success, much blessings to her.”

While Karrueche continues to ignore the news surrounding Chris Brown following their breakup, rumors suggest that Chris Brown has a song, titled “KAE,” dedicated to Karrueche Tran on his upcoming Royalty album that will debut on December 18.
