Meet ‘Real Housewives Of Potomac’ Stars Robyn Dixon And Charrisse Jackson Jordan

While Bravo is all but set to launch its new Real Housewives franchise with the upcoming Real Housewives of Potomac, there is still a lot of mystery surrounding the new show. Although many are not familiar with the location, the ladies of the new series are sure to bring plenty of drama to keep any fan of the hit franchise happy. With that in mind, here is everything to know about RHOP stars Robyn Dixon and Charrisse Jackson Jordan.

According to Bustle, Jordan is set to play the part of party organizer and socialite in the new series. In fact, Jordan apparently loves to throw lavish parties for her friends, some of which will be included in the first season.

Aside from her love of parties, Jordan is also a very generous person. In addition to being a past president of Behind the Bench for the National Basketball Wives Association, Jordan is active in several different charitable organizations. This includes the likes of the American Cancer Society, Men Against Breast Cancer, N Street Village, and Knock Out Abuse Against Women.

“In NYC presenting a check on behalf of Behind the Bench (NBA Wives Assoc.) to the American Cancer Society,” Jordan wrote alongside an Instagram image of her posing with a huge check. “VERY emotional moment for me.”

As far as her personal life is concerned, Jordan is currently married to Eddie Jordan, who played in the NBA on several different teams, including the Lakers, Trail Blazers, and Nets. The couple have two children together, Jackson (17) and Skylar (15).

Meanwhile, Jordan shares some similarities with her Real Housewives of Potomac co-star, Robyn Dixon. Like Jordan, Dixon was also married to an NBA player, Juan Dixon. However, in contrast to Jordan’s happy marriage, Bustle is reporting that Dixon is currently separated from her husband. Interestingly, the two still live in the same house and are on good terms. Robyn and Juan have two children together, Corey (7) and Carter (6).

In regard to her professional life, Dixon is employed as a public relations and event manager in a firm based in Washington D.C. Although little is known about her role in the company, the business offers services in the fields of fashion, entertainment, design and luxury. In addition to her duties at work, Dixon remains plenty busy with raising her two children.

At the same time, perhaps the most interesting aspect of Dixon centers on the status of her current financial situation. Although the franchise is notorious for featuring women who occupy the upper echelons of society, Radar Online is reporting that the reality star has filed for bankruptcy as recently as 2013.

Dixon listed over $217,000 worth of debt in her bankruptcy papers, while only bringing in a little under $2,000 a month in income. The large amount of debt was due to a mortgage loan of $149,000, credit card expenditures close to $30,000, and a car loan that amounted to $28,000. Due to her bankruptcy filing, Dixon lost ownership of her car and was forced to pay $16,000 a year to the I.R.S. in back taxes.

In light of the bankruptcy proceedings, it is unclear just how much the reality star is currently worth. Based on the available data, Dixon made around $13,000 in 2013 working as a consultant.

Given her recent financial woes and the fact that she still lives with her ex-husband, Dixon is sure to bring plenty of drama to the table when the new reality show hits television in a few months.

The Real Housewives of the Potomac is set to premiere its first season January 17 on Bravo.
