Wiz Khalifa Gets Several 2015 Awards, But Loses Popularity With Amber Rose

Wiz Khalifa is getting recognition for all of his hard work in 2015 one last time, but he may have lost the attention of Amber Rose forever.

Of course, one of the major end-of-the-year reviews Wiz Khalifa is included in is the Grammy Awards. Like many other top-rated celebrity performers, Wiz Khalifa submitted his work and gained two nominations for the Grammy Award ceremony in 2016.

According to the Post Gazette, one of the main awards that Wiz Khalifa was nominated for at the Grammys is Song of the Year for “See You Again.” The other nomination that Wiz Khalifa shares with Charlie Puth is for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Adding to this, TIME reports that the end-of-the-year data shows that Wiz Khalifa is at number three for Biggest Selling Songs of 2015.

Wiz Khalifa is also on the list for the most-viewed videos of 2015, according to Rolling Stone.

About Wiz Khalifa’s accomplishment, they state his video for Furious 7 reached “one billion views in just 184 days” making it the top-viewed video of the year.

However, on Instagram around December 7, Wiz Khalifa posted a picture of himself texting and captioned it with “Hard to remember these days.” Was Wiz Khalifa referring to a past romance? In an earlier post the same day, he captioned the same photo with “I do what I want when I want.”

It can be difficult to interpret these vague messages Wiz Khalifa is leaving on social media, but it has become apparent that Amber Rose may not be listening. According to BET, Amber Rose “is ready to go lesbian” and that does not leave a lot of room for Wiz Khalifa.

Allegedly, Amber Rose has a big crush on MMA fighter Ronda Rousey — and called her feelings for Ronda “lesbionic.”

On the other hand, Amber Rose could be feeling less than romantic after remembering the downside of her relationship with Wiz Khalifa during her recent feminist-themed photo session for Paper Mag.

About the feminist theme, MTV reports that Amber Rose once stated that the reason she started calling herself a feminist in the first place was because of Wiz Khalifa. About the transition, Amber Rose states the following.

“I would look on [Wiz Khalifa’s] Instagram and he would have pictures of all these women all over him… and then I would post a picture of me and my son. And people would be like, ‘Does your son know that his mother’s a whore?… So yeah, I guess months of seeing s*** like that, I was just like, ‘I can’t live like this. There’s something wrong.’”

Amber Rose may have moved on from Wiz Khalifa, but other women are ready for the media to stop using them as an Amber Rose replacement.

Mstarz reports that Quantico star Anabelle Acosta completely denies that she is dating Wiz Khalifa. Furthermore, Anabelle Acosta is alleged to be furious that the rumors about her and Wiz Khalifa have been going on for awhile (when they are not true in any way).

In the meantime, Wiz Khalifa is excited about the next chapter of his career and has recently revealed the cover art for Cabin Fever 3. Hot New Hip Hop reports that Wiz Khalifa has still not announced a release date for the album, but “with the tracklist and artwork revealed, it’s shaping up to be here before year’s end, if not Christmas.”

Unfortunately, there may be other trouble on the horizon for Wiz Khalifa. Over the recent past, celebrities like Wiz Khalifa and Lil Wayne have been criticized for fueling the hoverboard craze with kids — and broken bones are not the only complaint. In addition to being responsible for sprains and other injuries, hoverboards are now known for potentially causing fires.

According to the Guardian, around December 8 a hoverboard exploded in a mall kiosk in Washington — and this is the third hoverboard-related fire in America.
