Kim Kardashian’s Son’s Middle Name: Saint West’s Middle Name Isn’t Robert, But Does He Have One?
Kim Kardashian’s son doesn’t have a middle name, despite what you may have read. While it was wildly speculated that Kim and her husband, Kanye West, gave their son the middle name “Robert” as a way to honor Kim’s late father, that doesn’t seem to be the case at all.
According to AZCentral, newborn baby Saint West will not have a middle name at all.
“Kim and Kanye’s decision to give the four-day-old tot just a forename and surname won’t come as a surprise to fans, as they also adopted this approach when they named their [2]-year-old daughter North shortly after her birth in 2013,” reports AZCentral.
Kim Kardashian not giving her son a middle name may not be anything more than her and Kanye wanting their children to be known only as “Saint West” and “North West,” without having something in the middle to “screw up” the meaning or the way the name actually flows. Saint West, of course, would not be the same as “Saint Robert West.”

As for why Kim Kardashian and Kanye West chose the name Saint for their son, there could be a multitude of reasons. The first is that they look at this baby as a “blessing” after they had such a hard time getting pregnant. The name Saint may also have been chosen because Kanye is extremely religious (perhaps more so than Kim) — he does call himself Yeezus, after all.
Another interesting reason for the name Saint could be for the child’s initials. While Kim said that she and Kanye wouldn’t choose a “directional” name for their second child, they sort of did. Saint’s initials are “SW,” and his sister’s initials are “NW,” which makes a ton of sense if you think about it.

Kim Kardashian’s son’s middle name rumors began circulating just after his birth on December 5. That may have been because it was much easier for the media to try and predict the baby’s middle name over his first name. And while you may be thinking that is was just about impossible for anyone to guess Kim and Kanye’s baby name choice, there was at least one person who guessed it right months ago.
According to Perez Hilton, a correct guess was made by someone six months ago. He posted it on Twitter as sort of joke — but he was spot on! Don’t worry, he was shocked too!
“Watch Kanye name his kid ‘saint’ or some stupid s**t,” tweeted the teen on June 22. Since learning the child’s name, over 100,000 people have retweeted the original tweet, making this kid internet famous (at least temporarily). After hearing the news for himself, the teen tweeted the new parents directly with only one word: “CMON!” No response from Kim and Kanye, however.
Kim Kardashian’s son — middle name or not — is already the talk of the internet. Most people are still slamming the first name choice, but many have moved on to the next big thing: That first baby photo.
Kim and Kanye haven’t released any pics of their newborn just yet, but fans suspect that they will do so on Christmas Day. Nothing like presenting Saint West on Jesus’ birthday — it all seems so fitting, doesn’t it?
