Goldie: Kurt ‘Hateful Eight’ Hair Was A ‘Lifestyle Change’ For Actress

Goldie Hawn spoke out about Kurt Russell’s Hateful Eight hair and said that she didn’t like it because it covered way too much of his face! According to the Spreadit, Hawn, who has been dating Russell for over 30 years, said that she couldn’t see her man’s lips for a year and a half while he worked on the film. The actor’s look was clearly different for Hawn, who is used to having a guy who is clean shaven (he is back to his old self now, no worries).

“It was like, ‘Where are those lips?’ I didn’t see them for a year and a half,” Hawn said when asked whether or not she liked Russell’s overgrown look.

Goldie on Kurt’s Hateful Eight hair was not the only thing that had these two making headlines this week. Goldie Hawn was spotted with a ring that looked like an engagement ring of sorts on that finger, making many wonder if the couple was going to tie the knot after three decades. Rumor had it that the two were planning on getting married in Aspen over the holidays.

Although said rumors were at an all-time high, Kurt Russell was quick to tell reporters the truth. He admits that he wanted some other “fun” answer other than “no, it’s not true,” but he couldn’t come up with anything clever enough. He was, however, prepared for the questions.

“No, unfortunately for those who have to hear yes I do not have good news. I was talking to Goldie last night, I said ‘I really should have some fun thing to say.’ I have none. They trot that out every four or five years and now that we’re 400 years old,” Russell said.

According to People Magazine, however, the two are still very much in love — and they proved that at The Hateful Eight premiere. Not only were the two together on the red carpet giving off tons of lovey-dovey vibes, but Goldie Hawn tweeted the following message after watching her guy on the big screen.

Now that Goldie is over Kurt’s Hateful Eight hair, the two are looking forward to other things — namely, the holidays. While there might not be wedding bells in the near future, the duo will be spending Christmas as their place in Aspen with their family.

“On Christmas Eve, we always have somebody who is there – one of the family members reads The Night Before Christmas. And sometime soon after that, Santa Claus has a tendency to show up, so the little ones start getting nervous,” Russell joked at The Hateful Eight premiere. “I don’t know who it will be this year. We change it all the time. At some point we start of thinking about it and go, ‘Who hasn’t done this yet?’ or ‘Who hasn’t done this for a long time?’ I think I know who it’s going to be this year. It’s going to be Oliver’s wife. That’s going to be my pick. It’s going to be Oliver’s wife, Erinn,” he added.

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell usually celebrate Christmas with their family including Hawn’s daughter, Kate Hudson, and her two children, and her brother, Oliver, and his three kids. It is unknown if Kurt’s kids also attend with their families. They all seem to have so much fun celebrating together, which is really what the holidays are all about.
