‘Full House’ Candace Cameron Throws Major Shade On Mary-Kate Olsen’s Wedding

Wedding invite lost in the mail? That’s always a possibility, but it’s not stopping Candace Cameron Bure from speaking out on Mary-Kate Olsen’s wedding to Olivier Sarkozy and throwing some shade in the process. Perhaps this is in response to the Olsen twins deciding not to do the Full House spin-off, Fuller House? Either way, Cameron seems to have some pent up hostility.

According to the Inquisitr, Mary-Kate Olsen married Olivier Sarkozy in New York last week, and it seems that none of the Full House crowd was invited. John Stamos took to Instagram to congratulate the newlyweds on their nuptials. It seems that Stamos wanted to make yet another display of showing that there are no hard feelings after it came out that, years ago, Stamos wanted to get the Olsen twins fired from Full House. No matter what, it seems that Olsens won’t even be popping in for a cameo.

Us Magazine is reporting that Candace Cameron Bure’s comments about Mary-Kate Olsen’s wedding were definitely on the catty side.

“‘My invitation must have gotten lost in the mail,’ the actress, 39, who played D.J. Tanner on the beloved sitcom, sniffed to Cosmopolitan on Monday, December 7, at the mag’s Cosmo 100 luncheon in NYC.”

It has been reported that the wedding party was full of smokers, and ashtrays were full all day.

“I’m not a smoker, so I might not have had much fun,” the mom of three said. “I’m really happy for Mary-Kate though. I really am.”

Now that the Olsens are a definite no for Fuller House, it has been divulged how they will explain Michelle Tanner’s absence.

“According to a show insider, the show’s characters will mention that Michelle is now living in NYC and working on creating her fashion line — a not-so-subtle reference to the Olsen twins, who both live in Manhattan and are fashion designers.”

But Fishwrapper is saying that maybe Mary-Kate and Olivier just didn’t want any buzzkills at their fete.

“Invitation got lost in the mail? We hardly think so… it’s more likely that MK and her husband didn’t want Sniffy McCondescension at their wedding reception, bearing gifts of judgment and mirth, and jeez, who can blame them?”

But Cosmopolitan says that Cameron is having trouble getting the “bowls full of cigarettes” out of her mind.

“She did, however, hear about the infamous ‘bowls of cigarettes.’ ‘I wonder how that would be — I don’t know,’ she said.”

Fashion & Style confirms that Bob Saget of Full House and Fuller House was not invited either.

“I was not invited, but I’m very happy, and I sent a Mazel Tov text,” Saget remarked during an interview on the Today show.

Fuller House will debut on Netflix in 2016, and the rest of the cast are ready to make their comeback. Candace Cameron Bure plays the lead as a widowed mother who desperately needs the help of her extended family to cope with daily life.

Do you think Candace Cameron Bure was just joking around, or do you think she intentionally wanted to put Mary-Kate Olsen down for not inviting the cast of Full House to her New York wedding?
