Kate Middleton Debuts New Hair, Check Out The Duchess’ Chopped And Chic Locks

Kate Middleton is known to ignite trends with her aesthetically-pleasing fashion selections and beauty care regimens, not to mention her styling of her gorgeous flowing locks. The Duchess can inspire the masses to sport a sleek up-do or a tousled swept-up look with one appearance. Her latest full change to her tresses had onlookers a bit shocked and uncertain of the fringe look. However, the alternative style gave Kate a bit of an edgier appeal, despite some harsher-than-normal criticism that came along with the change.

Well, the fringe has since grown out a tad, but Middleton is keeping things fresh, and perhaps ensuring to make caring for her mane a bit more manageable, seeing as she has two busy little ones to care for. The Duchess has chopped a good length of her chestnut locks, while maintaining the same body and slight wave to her style. Vanity Fair notes the latest hair style sported by the Duchess.

“Kate!!!! A tiara appearance, followed by a haircut, on back to back days in mid-December—this is basically re-defining closing out the year with a bang (or, in this case, actually, lack of bangs). on a morning like this one, otherwise unremarkable, to open your laptop and learn that Kate Middleton has chopped off ‘a few inches’ (!) of her hair!”

As has been noted, Middleton was pictured turning up at the ICAP Charity Day, and super-fans of the fashionable royal were loving her new look. The Mirror expands as to what the event and appearance by Middleton was all about.

“The Duchess of Cambridge was seen arriving at ICAP’s London office for the firm’s 23rd annual charity day. ICAP’s Charity Day is raising money for a range of charities, including SkillForce, of which William is patron, and SportsAid and Place2Be, of which Kate is patron.”

The style of the Duchess’ coif has been described by the publication’s style reporter as a “rare change,” likely due to the lack of length when compared to Kate’s usual long and wavy tendrils. The look is somehow a touch more sophisticated, as it sits just past her shoulders and makes the fringe, that is taking its time to fully grow out and meld in with the surrounding layers, more fitting.

With this stop in for the charity appearance, Kate has followed up last night’s event, during which she wore one of Princess Diana’s favorite tiaras. The Mirror reminds of the earlier event, during which the Duchess wore the priceless piece.

“Kate, 33, attended the annual diplomatic reception at Buckingham Palace where she wore the diamond and pearl Cambridge Lover’s Knot Tiara once owned by William’s late mother.”

Kate and her husband, Prince William — eldest son to the late Princess Diana — arrived at the event last night in a chauffeur-driven Bentley. The tiara had been a present to Princess Diana on her wedding day back in 1981 from Prince Charles, William’s father. The Queen had been left the spectacular piece by her own grandmother, Queen Mary, who had commissioned it in 1914.

Middleton obviously stunned in the remarkable tiara that holds with it so much history for the royal family. To appear in such a grandiose manner last evening and then unveil a new look and locks this morning, Middleton is keeping the royal watchers on the edge of their seats and likely in delight.
