Is Taylor Swift Responsible For Selena Gomez And Niall Horan?
Selena Gomez and Niall Horan may be dating and somehow Taylor Swift is involved. The singers sparked the romance rumors when they were spotted making out at a party.
The dating rumors first started the night of the American Music Awards. Gomez, 23, and Horan, 22, were spotted having dinner with friends and family. Reports claimed that Gomez and Horan have been friends for years, and are not linked romantically.
But then Us Weekly confirmed that Selena and Niall were spotted kissing at Jenna Dewan Tatum’s birthday party last Friday night. The singers continued to spark romance rumors when they were spotted having a night out at the Santa Monica Pier. In fact, the new cute couple were “riding roller coasters and playing boardwalk games” on Saturday night where they were supposedly seen holding hands.
But things got really cozy on the Ferris wheel when fans noticed Gomez and Horan together. Then their date took a sexy turn when they shared ice cream comes. After riding the roller coasters and playing the carnival games, the two decided to have the sexy frozen snack, according to the alleged snoop.
“Selena ordered the rainbow sherbet and Niall had a scoop of Rocky Road.” And “before he tasted it, [Selena] took a lick of his ice cream,” the source added. Who knew that eating ice cream could be so sexy?
Meanwhile, an eyewitness spotted Gomez and Horan on their adorable date. The alleged insider told the Hollywood Life that the 1D bandmate tried to win Gomez “a My Little Pony stuffed animal at the water gun race booth,” according the insider. And when they weren’t holding hands, the “Good For You” singer had her arm interlocked with his arm.
Now reports are claiming that Taylor Swift has been playing matchmaker all along. Despite the fact that she has history with One Direction singer Harry Styles, an insider told the Hollywood Life that Swift is willing to put that behind her just so Gomez can find her own happiness.
“Taylor is over the moon about Selena and Niall,” the alleged insider told the celebrity gossip blog. In addition, Taylor has been trying to get Selena and Niall hook up for years and “always knew they would be a match made in heaven,” the source added.
According to the report, Swift found out about Gomez and Bieber’s reunion. Though she knows she can’t babysit her friend, she’s still relieved to see that the Biebs is out of the picture for now. Swift is not even worried about the eventual awkward run-ins she’ll have with Styles in the near future.
“Taylor thinks the world of Niall. [Taylor] knows that he will treat Selena like a princess and totally commit to her, unlike Justin. In Taylor’s eyes, Niall is the whole package. He’s handsome, smart, funny, successful and has a heart of gold to match Selena’s big heart.”
And apparently Selena Gomez feels the same way for Niall Horan. The couple’s chemistry has reportedly been off the charts and Gomez feels that kissing the Irish cutie is “absolutely electric,” according to another inside source. Selena didn’t have feelings for Niall at first until after he kissed her, and that’s when everything changed.
In fact, everything is going so good between Selena and Niall that they will be dating for a long time, or as long as things stay good. Earlier this year, Selena shortly briefly dated DJ Zedd, but their pairing only lasted for three months.
