‘RHOBH’ Kim Richards Filming New Counseling Reality Series With Daughter Kimberly, Heidi Montag & More

Kim Richards is reportedly ready for her reality television return — and not just on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. After filming a guest role on the Bravo series, Kim Richards, who struggled with her alcohol addiction throughout 2015, began filming a new series, which has yet to be announced.

On December 7, Entertainment Tonight Online revealed Kim Richards and her youngest daughter, 30-year-old Kimberly Jackson, were filming a new reality show. According to the report, the unnamed series is based around famous mothers and daughters who have “faced public struggles and are going through counseling.”

No word yet on whether or not Kim Richards’ other daughters, Brooke Brinson, 29, and Whitney Davis, 25, will be seen on the show. However, according to Entertainment Tonight Online, the women will be joined by Heidi Montag and her mom, who infamously feuded during scenes from MTV’s The Hills.

Throughout this year, Kim Richards has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. After feuding with her sister, Kyle, during the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, about everything from their late mother’s former home to Kim Richards’ dog’s attack on Kyle’s daughter, Kim Richards was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where she had indulged in several cocktails before become disruptive to her fellow patrons and being arrested. From there, Kim Richards entered rehab, but months later, she was arrested for a second time after allegedly stealing more than $600 worth of items from a Target store in Van Nuys, California.

Just weeks after Kim Richards’ first arrest, her daughter, Brooke Brinson, was set to celebrate her marriage to Thayer Wiederhorn in Mexico (the couple first wed in August, 2014, at the home of Kathy Hilton so that Brooke’s cancer-stricken father, Monty, was able to attend). However, due to Kim Richards’ relapse, there was speculation into whether or not she would attend. Ultimately, she did.

While Kim Richards had a rough year, and was said to have been fired from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills due to her sobriety struggles, she eventually returned to filming the Bravo reality show with her sister and co-stars, including Brandi Glanville and Yolanda Foster.

“[Kim Richards] was at the finale taping for the show last Friday at sister Kyle’s La Quinta vacation home,” an insider explained to Radar Online last month.

According to the report, Kim Richards took members of the filming crew aside, and apologized for her erratic behavior in recent months.

“There were a lot of tears as [Kim Richards] explained she is committed to her sobriety. Kim also owned up to her past bad behavior to the other ladies. There was a lot of concern for Kyle as well. The sisters appear to be starting a new chapter in their relationship after not speaking for months.”

Then, during the party, Kim Richards was “determined to keep a very low profile. She didn’t want to have any attention on her. She really hopes to come back to the show next season and would allow cameras to document her path to sobriety and recovery.”

For more Kim Richards, tune into The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6, airing on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. on Bravo. Throughout Season 6, Kim Richards will be featured in a guest-starring role, as will her longtime friend, Glanville, who was demoted earlier this year after a number of heated feuds with her co-stars.
