Khloe Kardashian Shares 'Fat Girl' Comfort Food Recipe & Turns Lamar Odom Crisis Into Unexpected Resolution [Video]

Khloe Kardashian is ready to put 2015 behind her. The reality TV star has been multi-tasking mightily in recent months, ever since she learned that Lamar Odom had been discovered unconscious in a Nevada brothel. Because the divorce between Khloe and Lamar had not been finalized, she remained in charge of his medical decisions when he could not handle them, and Kardashian stepped up to the challenge by staying by his side and managing his health decisions.

Now, after going through all that stress, Khloe has revealed that she's learned that life can change dramatically in a very short time, reported Film News. Kardashian is using what she learned to create a resolution for 2016.

"This year has made me realize how quickly things can change. In a moment everything can change," tweeted Khloe. "So one of my resolutions is to be more present and appreciate every moment."

Kardashian also reflected on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians in which her momager, Kris Jenner, discussed the split. After Khloe wed the NBA player in 2009, she made the decision to divorce him following drug abuse and cheating rumors.

"I think of all the relationships that I've had the privilege of being around, the one that I thought would be forever tried and true was Khloé and Lamar. And it breaks my heart to see all of this go on," said Jenner during the episode.

But Kardashian revealed that she feels it's time her to move forward rather than look back.

"I need to move forward. I don't feel you ever really have peace from walking away from any situation that you wish ended up differently," emphasized Khloe.

The episode depicting the conversation between Kardashian and Jenner was filmed prior to her estranged husband's overdose and hospitalization, according to In Touch Weekly.

Khloe also stressed that she feels she did everything she could to prevent the divorce decision.

"Do I know for a fact that I've done every single thing that I could to try to save that marriage? A hundred percent," declared Kardashian.

Khloe has sought to explain to fans that although she cancelled their divorce, she is not seeking to renew their romance.

"It's out in the media that we are back together, but I wish people understood that's not in our thought process right now," said Kardashian. "There are too many other important things, too many medical things."

As the Inquisitr reported, now that Lamar is ready to move from the hospital into an arrangement such as home health care or a long-term care facility, Khloe has made the decision to ban him from her home. Kardashian is concerned that if she gives in, his team will transform her house into a hospital facility.

But despite her tough times and even a staph infection that put her temporarily in quarantine, Khloe pulled it together to host the family Thanksgiving bash and share what each member of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians clan was grateful for, reported People.

Khloe also shared a passion for cooking but admitted she only enjoys creating fattening comfort food.

"I want to be a chef but I'm only a fat girl chef, like I only like to make fat, comfort food," admitted Kardashian.

A popular recipe for "mouth-watering monkey bread" involves cutting biscuit dough purchased from the store into chunks, then rolling the dough in cinnamon sugar. The dough then gets doused with brown sugar and margarine before baking, after which it's flipped onto a plate to allow the sugary mixture to cascade down as it cools. The use of a bundt pan gives it a special elegance.

"This looks so f**king good. It's definitely not on my diet but how bomb is this?" demanded Khloe proudly.

As for taking the time to express what she's grateful for, Kardashian revealed her happiness in having all her family together at the table.

"Who would have thought — because so much s**t has happened — that we would all be sitting here breaking bread together?" mused Khloé.

As for the rest of her family?

"I'm thankful that [my brother] Rob [Kardashian] replied to my text today. I haven't talked to him in a while," said Kylie Jenner.

"I am thankful for everyone here. And I'm thankful for the good vibes and I'm thankful for the food," declared Kendall Jenner.

Kanye West expressed his thanks that Lamar liked his outfit. He and Kim Kardashian had visited Khloe's estranged husband in the hospital.

And Caitlyn Jenner expressed her gratitude to everyone.

"I'm thankful cause I wake up in the morning and I can't wait for the day to start," said Caitlyn. "I'm thankful for everybody in this room."
