Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Laugh Off Romance Questions After Wedding, Pregnancy Rumors! Plus, Will Their Relationship Impact ‘The Voice’ Season 10 Casting?

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been going strong for over one month now, but that does’t mean they like talking about their new romance. This morning, while appearing on the Today show with their Voice co-stars, Pharrell Williams and Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani and her new man were put in the hot seat, and they didn’t appear to be too comfortable with it.

Although Gwen Stefani and Shelton weren’t seated next to one another, the show’s host couldn’t help but ask about the couple’s highly talked about love life.

“[Gwen Stefani] and Blake, of course we all know what’s going on with you guys,” Natalie Morales said, according to a December 7 report by Us Weekly. “Is it good to just be out in the open now?”

In response, Gwen Stefani and her boyfriend immediately froze, but luckily, their co-stars had their back, with Williams noting, “That was a nice segue.” Adam Levine starting to sing, “Next question! Next question, please! Ask the next question before it gets awkward!”

After their co-stars attempted to deflect, Gwen Stefani and Shelton burst into laughter.

Gwen Stefani also called in to a second show, where she briefly commented on her and Shelton’s romance, which was confirmed in early November, months after both parties divorced their previous spouses.

“It’s hard to believe anything that is going on in my life right now,” Gwen Stefani said during an interview on Dana & Jayson In The Morning on 106.1 WBLI/Long Island, according to a Hollywood Life report on December 7.

While chatting with the hosts, Gwen Stefani was confronted with her recent performance of “Used To Love You,” a piece about her ex-husband, which garnered a standing ovation from Shelton. After being asked by Jayson whether or not she gets embarrassed by her highly talked about romance with the country star, Gwen Stefani admitted to being a bit overwhelmed.

“Everything changed so quickly like overnight. I’m so tongue-twisted right now — I don’t like talking about it. I am embarrassed about it sometimes because I feel so exposed but I am so grateful for that friendship that saved me through this year. It’s unbelievable what it takes to get through stuff.”

Also on December 7, Radar Online claimed Gwen Stefani’s romance with Shelton may have led The Voice executives to decide to include her in the show’s upcoming 10th season, instead of Christina Aguilera, who typically alternates seasons with Gwen Stefani.

“The executives already want to keep [Gwen Stefani] for next season and keep the cast as is. The way things are going right now, there is no reason to sub her out for Christina.”

According to the report, Gwen Stefani’s romance with Shelton has led to an increase in viewers, which is understandably ideal for the network.

Prior to dating Shelton, Gwen Stefani was married for 13 years to Gavin Rossdale, and the two share three children together. As Us Weekly reported in November, Gwen Stefani’s husband was accused of cheating on her with their nanny, Mindy Mann, prior to their divorce announcement in August. According to the magazine’s source, Rossdale’s alleged affair with Mann spanned three years.

In February, according to the magazine, Gwen Stefani was informed of the alleged affair by her staff, and discovered messages sent between them on the family’s iPad. However, after immediately firing Mann, Rossdale denied the messages were anything more than flirtation, and he and Gwen Stefani attempted to mend their marriage until he ultimately chose to come clean.
