Kyle Richards Hints ‘RHOBH’ Drama Isn’t Violent: ‘None Of Us Felt Comfortable’ With Brandi

Kyle Richards is back for another season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and she may have been a little hesitant signing on for another season. While the ladies were on hiatus, Kyle’s sister Kim Richards was arrested for resisting arrest and intoxication. A few months later, Kim was arrested for shoplifting at Target, where she stole more than $600 worth of merchandise.

It is clear that Kyle Richards doesn’t want to talk about her sister on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Richards would much rather let Kim talk about her own troubles, and she will return for a few scenes later this season. So without Kim and Brandi Glanville on the show, is The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills worth watching? Kyle definitely thinks so.

According to a new Bravo report, Kyle Richards is now revealing that the show isn’t the same without Brandi, but it is still packed with drama. Richards admits that the drama isn’t as physical; no one is getting wine thrown in their faces and no one is getting slapped. But just because the drama isn’t violent doesn’t mean the drama doesn’t exist. It very much does, and Kyle is ready to talk about what’s different.

“We have a lot of drama and problems and issues this season amongst the women,” Kyle told the Daily Dish, adding, “It’s not crazy like throwing wine in each other’s faces or shoving each other or slapping each other across the face like when Brandi was there. It’s a very different kind of drama. You know, last season with all that stuff going on with Brandi, none of us felt comfortable with that. That’s not who we are. I’ve never had someone shove me before. Lisa Vanderpump’s never been slapped in her life. So, you know, it’s a different kind of drama, but something that we’re comfortable with. This is who we are; this is our life.”

Kyle is also sad that her sister decided not to film the show on a full-time basis. Kim Richards has previously revealed that the show saved her, as she was forced to deal with her problems in front of the world. But as it turns out, Richards feels lonely without her sister on the show, as they started this journey together on the very first season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“It felt really weird starting the show this season without my sister. We started this together and she’s a very big part of the show and, obviously, apart of my life,” Kyle said. “It felt very strange, but the timing just wasn’t right because she was taking care of herself, and, so, it took some getting used to.”

Even though Kyle Richards may miss her sister on the show, it sounds like she doesn’t really miss Brandi Glanville. The two haven’t gotten along on the show, even though Kim and Brandi have become close friends. As it turns out, Richards doesn’t talk to Glanville at all.

“We are not friends at all,” Kyle, 46, told Entertainment Tonight, according to Us Weekly, adding, “We didn’t really have a foundation to begin with. It’s not like a friend you had a falling out with and you missed them, so there’s no love lost there.”

Lisa Vanderpump also revealed during the season premiere that she doesn’t talk to Brandi anymore. It sounds like many of the ladies just needed some time away from the former Real Housewives star, who stepped back to work on her various business ventures.

What do you think of Kyle Richards’ comments about Brandi Glanville? Do you miss Brandi on the show, or do you think this season will be much better now that she’s gone?
