Peta Murgatroyd’s Ring Sparkles: What Did Maks Get Her?
Peta Murgatroyd was performing with Maks Chmerkovskiy this weekend at the Olympia Theater at the Gary Nader Art Centre. The two were performing Sway: A Dance Trilogy, and Peta may have thought that it was just another dance — another performance. But what she didn’t know was that Maks had plans of his own. Before the performance was over, he got down on one knee and proposed to the Dancing With The Stars professional.
Peta Murgatroyd said yes to the proposal, and he pulled out quite the ring for her. But fans in the audience didn’t get a good look at the ring. Everyone was celebrating the moment and may not have thought much about the ring itself. But now that everyone has celebrated the proposal, they all want to see the sparkler that he got Murgatroyd.
According to a new Hollywood Life report, Peta Murgatroyd stepped out yesterday in sweats, and she was eager to show off her new bling. He got her a Cantamessa engagement ring, and it was custom-made and designed by Maks himself. He designed it specifically for Murgatroyd. The ring features an emerald-cut center stone that weighs in at approximately 3-4 carats in a beautiful split-shank setting that features a pave diamond-encrusted band, according to Hollywood Life. It sounds like Peta got quite the sparkler.

It is quite the ring he got for Murgatroyd. No word on how much this kind of ring is worth, but one can imagine he put down a bit more than just three months of pay. In fact, the ring is very visible and it shines just like the Mirrorball trophy from Dancing With The Stars, the show where they have competed against one another.
When Peta Murgatroyd announced the engagement to Chmerkovskiy, many of their Dancing With The Stars fans congratulated them. It is no secret that Chmerkovskiy doesn’t have the best reputation in regards to Dancing With The Stars. He may have visited the show this past season as a guest judge, but he has caused some controversy on the show before. Plus, he was accused of being violent with former contestant, Hope Solo. But it sounds like he is ready to leave it all behind to focus on a relationship with Murgatroyd.
Val Chmerkovskiy was quick to add his thoughts on social media after he learned that his brother had proposed to Peta Murgatroyd. It sounds like he is excited for his brother, who is now ready to settle down, according to ET Online.
“You have my brothers loyalty, heart, his one and only for the rest of his life. You’re family now and that makes you my sister, the second most important woman in my life. What’s mine is yours. Forever and always. Petachka your team got numbers now,” he continued, adding the hashtags “#trapqueenforlife” and “#famovereverything.”

Peta and Maksim didn’t dance on this past season of Dancing With The Stars. It sounds like they are having fun dancing on the road and performing with one another on stages around the country. The proposal happened in Miami, and it is very possible that they flew back to New York for the weekend. The two have been dancing and performing for a while, and it is possible that Peta Murgatroyd will compete on the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars. That season is expected to start in March, possibly after the Bachelor comes to an end. No word on whether Ben Higgins will compete on the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars.
