Selena Gomez Enjoys PDA With Niall Horan As She Talks Lupus & Dating: Justin Bieber Posts ‘Jelena’ Throwback Photo
Selena Gomez hasn’t been able to shake off the shadow of her relationship with Justin Bieber, but the pop princess is definitely trying. Most recently, Selena has been linked with Niall Horan, with whom she showed off the art of kissing during Jenna Dewan’s birthday bash, reported the Daily Mail.
Gomez, 23, performed at the KIIS FM’s 2015 Jingle Ball prior to joining her new boyfriend. Selena is supposedly over her relationship with Justin, but hasn’t offered any official statements on whether she’s actually involved with One Direction star Niall. Gomez and Horan dined together in November, jump-starting the rumors that they were on the hot new couple list.
And those PDA reports moved into high gear when Selena and Niall were spotted locking lips, hugging, and dancing during their visit to Bootsy Bellows, a known popular venue in Los Angeles. The pop princess and 22-year-old One Direction phenom also departed Jenna’s birthday bash as a couple.
“Niall and Selena were seen kissing in the middle of the club, in front of everyone,” an observer told Us Weekly.
In addition, an eyewitness revealed that they were together all night, describing them as “very close” and appearing to be a couple.
“Niall got there first with his bodyguard, then the next thing I know, I looked over and Selena was there. They were very close together, talking and whispering,” the insider told Us.
And just to confirm it, Horan himself shared a photo with Gomez on Twitter.
But what about Bieber and Selena? Gomez shared that when it comes to Justin, she’s no longer a “Belieber” that they’re meant to be together, reported In Style.
With regard to being constantly questioned about Bieber, Selena feels that it’s in the past, and needs to stay that way.
And as to who she really wants to date? Given that Selena is 23, Niall is 22, and Justin is 21, apparently both guys are out of the running for Gomez’s wish list of dates.
“I feel like I look 16 sometimes, which is a bummer because I would love to date older guys,” confessed Selena.
But although Justin may not qualify when it comes to his age, he offered hope to those who still Belieb in Jelena (Justin plus Selena) by posting a 2012 throwback photo depicting Bieber and Gomez strolling and holding hands. The post came just a day after Niall and Selena were seen engaged in PDA, reported E News.

Gomez and Bieber were together for a roller-coaster period of three years. They ended their romance in 2014, then got Jelena hopefuls excited when they joined together last month, complete with a sweet serenade from Justin and stroll.

The renewal of romance rumors for Selena come amid her announcement that she has been battling lupus. Gomez shared that she had initially not discussed her health condition, reported ET.
Selena discovered three years ago that she had lupus, and went through chemotherapy as part of her treatment. The chronic autoimmune disease is not curable.
“It’s kind of one of those situations. You just have to take care of yourself,” explained Gomez.
“Same Old Love” has already become a hit from the Revival album, and the pop princess is planning an upcoming tour, showing that lupus cannot stop her determination to soar.
