Louis Tomlinson And Harry Styles Bond By Throwing Shade At Zayn Malik

Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson are usually careful not to get too chummy with one another when there are cameras around — they know that Larry Stylinson shippers obsessively analyze their every move hoping to see “evidence” that the One Direction singers are secret lovers. In fact, Louis and Harry started publicly interacting with each other so little that the gossip mill churned out a rumor that Harry and Louis are bitter enemies. However, the boys recently proved that they’re still bros by bonding a bit over their shared love of tattoos.

According to Seventeen, Harry Styles gave Louis Tomlinson a case of the giggles during a recent band discussion about bad ink. The boys were asked if they would have gotten tattoos if they had remained normal blokes instead of forming the most popular boy band in the world, and Louis Tomlinson revealed that he was “against tattoos” during his pre-One Direction days. Harry Styles said that he probably would have chosen to get inked with a cliché tattoo “like a yin yang” or “a Chinese symbol,” and his comment made Louis crack up so much that he bent over and put his face in his hands.

One Direction fans are speculating that Harry’s comment made Louis Tomlinson laugh because he assumed that his bandmate was throwing shade at One Direction dropout Zayn Malik. Zayn has a yin yang symbol on his left wrist, so perhaps Harry was purposely taking a dig at the Bradford Bad Boy by suggesting that Zayn has basic taste when it comes to tattoos. Or perhaps he didn’t realize that he was dissing Zayn Malik’s ink, and Louis still found his comment hilarious. Either way, there’s a large faction of One Direction fans who are relieved to see that Harry Styles can still make Louis Tomlinson laugh.

As Unreality TV points out, the rumors of an ongoing feud between Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson have existed almost as long as the fan speculation that the boys are involved in a secret gay relationship. Harry and Louis have never confirmed that they ever had any kind of beef with each other, but Louis Tomlinson did once admit that things had become a bit awkward between himself and Harry. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Louis described Harry as his “best friend” during a 2012 interview. However, he also said that the Larry Stylinson shippers were affecting the way he and Harry behaved in public.

Maybe Louis Tomlinson is having an easier time brushing off the Larry rumors now because he’s not in a serious relationship with a girl who might be hurt by them. He also has proof that he’s into girls: Briana Jungwirth’s baby bump. Louis impregnated Briana Jungwirth earlier this year, and the parents-to-be were recently spotted shopping for baby furniture. A source claimed that Louis put his hand on Briana’s belly during their outing, and he and the mother of his child “totally looked like a couple.” However, previous reports suggest that Briana and Louis have simply remained close friends after their short fling that resulted in an unplanned pregnancy.

Briana Jungwirth’s due date is sometime in January or February, so perhaps Louis Tomlinson’s next tattoo will honor his first child. And speaking of fresh 1D ink, Louis almost ended up adding another silly tat to his collection of stickmen, teacups, paper planes, and tic tac toe games.

One Direction played “tattoo roulette” during their recent appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, and Louis had a one-in-five chance of getting inked on air. Tattoo-free Niall Horan was the member of the band who was the most nervous about playing the roulette game. He was so worried that he was profusely sweating, but Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson didn’t seem concerned about getting inked — Louis joked that he was okay with it because the tattoo would “just be another stupid one” to add to his collection of scribbles.
