What is in store for America if President Barack Obama is elected to a second term? The upcoming movie release, “2016 Obama’s America” was created to address that question before voters head to the polls in November. Academy Award -winning producer of “Schindler’s List” Gerald Molen’s newest and highly political film is expected to hit movie theaters in late July or early August, World News Daily reports. The motion picture focusing on President Obama’s life and plans for the nation is based upon Dinesh D’Souza’s bestselling book, “The Roots of Obama’s Rage.” D’Souza is also the president of King’s College in New York City.
Molen has worked closely with renowned director and major Obama support Steven Spielberg for two decades. The pair of accomplished Hollywood filmmakers collaborated on blockbusters such as “Hook,” “Jurassic Park,” and “Minority Report.” The “2016 Obama’s America” filmmaker told World News Daily that his experiences while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps both explain and serve as inspiration for producing the political movie.
“There’s too much that’s not known about Obama – I think the American people deserve to know a little more about our President,” Molen told World News Daily when discussing the upcoming release of the Obama movie. “We’ve all talked about Obama’s education, but there’s no transcripts, there’s no scholarly papers; there’s no grades – and before Obama the media was going after George W. Bush about his schooling and grades. And the same with John Kerry, But nothing on Obama. Supposedly all that information is sealed off,” Molen concluded.
“2016 Obama’s America” is a collaboration between Molen, D’Souza and a team of other folks who researched the president’s upbringing and adult life to share what they think Obama’s ultimate vision for America involves. “People of goodwill must know history to avoid loss of liberty and further tragedy.” Molen concludes. The producer also noted that Obama’s re-election efforts continue to develop so the “2016 Obama’s America” production staff are still critiquing the completed scenes and updating the content of the expected summer release. Molen plans to release the film in prior to the Republican and Democratic national conventions.
Molen has also stated during the interview that he believes there will be a demand for “2016 Obama’s America.” The producer’s desire to protect the future for both his grandchildren and great grandchildren and to a “see us get back to sanity in this country,” are a driving force behind premiering the movie before voters cast ballots in the 2012 election.
