Kanye West’s New Baby Boy — Here’s What He Said About His Future Son’s Name Years Ago

Congratulations to Kanye and Kim on their new baby boy. With this new addition, will Yeezy’s personality be able to hold an extra male in the household? Isn’t it all about Kanye?

If you’ve seen any heated interview with West, you know that his personality can overtake the situation quickly. Just ask Sway. Yet, is it the same for his household, or is it just a public persona? While people feel his personality is “annoyingly arrogant,” it seems that’s not how it goes down at home.

According to E! Online, years ago, Kanye spoke about the difficulties of dealing with the press — and how those pressures play into public perception of his fatherhood ability — on Kris Jenner’s talk show. While the public has a certain view of Yeezy, he says that it’s because of paparazzi story angles. According to Kanye West, “it’s almost an agenda to write me into a certain type of story.”

He mentioned that, on top of the new territories of fatherhood — typical issues most new fathers encounter, like figuring out how to work a car seat, etc. — there were several men (paparazzi) screaming at him in front of his daughter. After taking so many pictures and posting them on various media outlets, he was barraged by “20 million Americans,” all telling him that he wasn’t fit to be a father. He noted that was a lot of “really intense” pressure. He even mentioned having cold sweats.

With Kanye West’s new son now in the mix, will Yeezy encounter the similar scrutiny he underwent with North West? For now, the West family is keeping their son’s name private. They only just announced his birth hours ago. They’re taking time to enjoy the euphoria of family, first, before coming under the public eye.

As you may know, Kanye West songs generally tell of his past experiences. However, he did a song with Jay-Z, via Watch the Throne, called “New Day.” In this song, Yeezy laid out what he expected of his baby boy. You can watch the Kanye West song performance in the video below.

“And I’ll never let my son have an ego/He’ll be nice to everyone, wherever we go/I mean, I might even make him be Republican/So everybody know he love white people…

“And I’ll never let him leave his college girlfriend/And get caught up with the groupies in the whirlwind…

“And I’ll never let him ever hit a strip club/I learned the hard way, that ain’t the place to get love.

“See, I just want him to have an easy life, not like Yeezy life/Just want him to be someone people like/Don’t want him to be hated, all the time judged/Don’t be like your daddy that would never budge…”

While the name hasn’t been released, from Kanye West’s lyrics, it appears that he wants a “Junior.” Perhaps his boy’s name is Kanye West, Jr.? That’s only speculation from his lyrics, of course.

While the name is important, one can’t ignore the maturity and resolve Yeezy already had for his son. Buzzfeed reported that Kanye acknowledged his ego and how it had ruined what the public thinks about him. From West’s lyrics, he clearly doesn’t want that for his new baby boy.

During this Yeezy concert, he mentioned that he was on the brink of suicide at one point in his life. Yet, knowing that he was destined for greatness, he persevered through his trials. While maintaining his mindset and focusing on fatherhood, he’s gotten to see his little boy come to life, whom was spoken into existence years ago.

Speaking of “taking care of your kids,” as mentioned in the previous video, Kanye West’s fatherhood points jumped a few notches when he stepped up to help take care of Scott Disick’s kids after Kourtney dumped him, as reports Perez Hilton. The celebrity news medium labeled it “perfect practice for baby #2.”
