Will Josh Duggar Return To TLC? ‘Honey Boo Boo’s’ Mama June Slams Network For Hypocrisy [Video]

Josh Duggar and the rest of the family might return to TLC, and Mama June Shannon isn’t happy about it. In a recent interview with Radar Online, Mama June voiced how unfair TLC’s treatment of the disgraced Duggar family has been compared to her own experience after she was fired.

Mama June Shannon, who starred in the TLC show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, was quickly and unceremoniously fired from TLC after reports surfaced that she was with her ex-boyfriend, Mark McDaniel. McDaniel served time in prison for child molestation, and one of his victims was Mama June’s daughter, Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell.

Despite all the scandal surrounding Josh Duggar, his sisters, Jill and Jessa, as well as his wife, Anna, are set to appear on TLC starting December 13 in the new mini-series Jill & Jessa: Counting On. The series will appear just months after Josh Duggar admitted to molesting several teenage girls when he was 14-years-old. According to Mama June, TLC is showing favoritism towards the Duggar clan.

In an exclusive interview with Radar Online, Mama June said that “TLC does some crazy stuff,” slamming the network for its hypocrisy.

“Jill and Jessa are going back on TV,” June explained, accusing TLC of trying to get the Duggar family, including Josh, back on television.

“Don’t tell me the Duggars aren’t going to be a part of that. They are working the Duggars back on TV in their own secret way,” Mama June asserts.

It’s well-known that the Duggar clan was the top earner for the network, and with the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting after the Josh Duggar scandal broke, TLC lost millions in revenue.

TLC’s treatment of Josh, Anna, Jessa, and the rest of the Duggars starkly contrasts with her treatment after Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was unceremoniously cancelled.

After the story broke that Shannon was back with her ex-boyfriend, “TLC took everything from us… They took so much away from the girls. Their bodyguards. They made them leave.”

By contrast, the Duggar family “had security for weeks after they were cancelled,” although it’s not clear whether Josh still had bodyguards after admitting he is addicted to pornography and losing his job with conservative Christian group in Washington, D.C. Josh Duggar is also being sued by adult film star Danica Dillon for $500,000. Dillon believes she was victimized by Duggar, who had rough sex with the adult film star.

Because of the damage to his marriage, Josh Duggar reportedly wants to renew his vows with Anna, and Duggar has even insinuated that they should have another child. Meanwhile, Anna is considering a divorce from Josh and reportedly has been tested for sexually transmitted diseases after learning Josh slept with Danica Dillon.

Mama June also told Radar Online that TLC staff members were unceremoniously removed from the Honey Boo Boo household, including “two people who had been in my kids’ lives for three years.” If Josh Duggar’s wife is back on TLC with Jessa and Jill Duggar, then the network’s staff obviously haven’t left their homes.

“If you were concerned about my kids, then why did you do that?” June questioned.

TLC is also bringing back Kate Plus 8, according to the reality star, which is another way she was treated differently from TLC reality show cast members like Josh Duggar.

As for McDaniel, June adamantly denies she’s seeing him, adding, “Mark’s not an issue. I’m not with him. I’m not dating him I never have.”

“It is what it is,” the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star sighed. “They are bringing Kate Plus 8 and they told me she was the worst person to work for and they were never going to bring her back.”

The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo reality star is now starring on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars alongside her husband, Sugar Bear. Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars promises lots of drama, and Shannon revealed that “[p]eople are going to be really shocked.” Unlike her experience on her former reality show, June says she’s “hoping there is not going to be any backlash” about her marriage to Sugar Bear.

“The truth is rough and raw,” June advises.

“I needed the answers to close the casket and say this is how it needs to be done,” Shannon told Radar about discussing Sugar Bear’s infidelities. Whether Alana, June’s daughter and star of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, will return to television, it’s up in the air, just like Josh Duggar.
