Gigi Hadid Strips Down For Two New Shoots, Defends Her Curves

Gigi Hadid has been busy getting nude or nearly nude lately. And clearly, she doesn’t care what those body-shaming critics think.

Gigi Hadid, 20, is taking on her body-shaming critics yet again. The former Sports Illustrated model addressed her critics in the January 2016 issue of British Vogue. While Hadid clearly didn’t strip down for the fashion magazine, she did address those scantily clad photo shoots that she’s been featured in. She’s been slammed for being more shapelier than her peers, including her best friend Kendall Jenner, but Hadid doesn’t seem to care. She said that she’s in it for the long run.

“Yeah, I’m an athletic person. But I love my body because I know what it’s been through to be what it is, and honestly I’m not going to change. The Victoria’s Secret Angels aren’t going anywhere; I’m not going anywhere; plus-sized models aren’t going anywhere.”

Gigi covers the magazine in a Bally leather motorcycle jacket, a black-and-white stripe Topshop sweater, and a black newsboy cap. Inside the magazine, she proudly wears a Vogue T-Shirt underneath a fur jacket. Gigi told British Vogue that she’s aware that her social media presence helped give her a household name. It also helps that she comes from a billionaire family who stars on one of the biggest reality shows on Bravo.

“I don’t change anything about myself – what I post just works. When people are different on social media than they are in real life, it becomes forced. Cara Delevingne was never scared of being weird. She opened that door for me. But I don’t think I just get hired because I have Instagram followers. My jobs are also what gets me followers.”

Though Hadid has already scored nine fashion campaigns, she’s starring in her first Versace ad. The steamy new campaign is shot by photographer Steven Klein who also shot Kylie Jenner’s controversial Interview magazine photo shoot. In the photos for the brand’s spring 2016 collection, Hadid sits on a chair while wearing bright green and yellow geometric print outfits.

But let’s get to those even steamier photo shoots that the blonde beauty has been in lately. Stuart Weiztman’s new Spring 2016 ad campaign features sexy block shoes and sexy models like Joanna Smalls, Lily Aldridge, and of course, Gigi Hadid herself. In fact, all three of the models are seen wearing nothing but the shoes in the new photo shoot. The beautiful women were shot by photographer Mario Testino in the new ad campaign, which shows the “intimate relationship between a woman and her shoes,” according to the brand’s press release. Hadid’s nude photo shoot for the fashion campaign is strangely fitting since she’s modeling the “Nearly Nude” style, Weitzman’s new block-heel version of his iconic “Nudist” sandal. In an exclusive black-and-white video for the ad campaign, Gigi is seen talking about her love for Stuart Weitzman shoes.

“What I love about Stuart Weitzman shoes is that they don’t only look good, but they’re also very comfortable and that’s very important to me.”

Gigi Hadid also stripped down for this year’s Love advent calendar. This time, the newly minted Victoria’s Secret model is stripping down to her skivvies in a super flirty and super sexy photo shoot. In a new two-minute video released on Love magazine’s website on Dec. 2, Gigi is seen wearing lacy red and black bra and matching panties. She complements her look with bright red juicy lips. In the video, Gigi blows kisses and dances around, proving that she’s totally comfortable in her own skin.
