Anderson Cooper To Sneaky Photobug Fan: “B—h What Are You Doing?”

Anderson Cooper appeared on Kathy Thursday night, recounting a humorous tale detailing a run-in with a sneaky photo-happy fan during a 6:00 a.m. flight he was on this week, according to LA Times.

Cooper told Kathy Griffin, host of Bravo TV’s Kathy, that he was trying to get some sleep on a New York-to-Los Angeles flight when he noticed a sneaky fan sitting in front of him trying to snap some pictures of the anchor on his iPhone while he slept. “I’m sitting there incredulous that he thinks I don’t see him … and he’s still taking the pictures,” Cooper said. “Normally I would just be like, ‘We’re not going to win this one,’ but I’ve lately become emboldened.”

So what does he do? Well, “I grab the guy on the shoulder, and I said something to the effect of, ‘B—h, what the f— are you doing?'” he told a shocked Kathy Griffin.

After telling-off the shutterbug, Cooper said that he immediately regretted what he said, and sank into remorse, reports NY Daily. “It was one of those things, as soon as I said, I was like ‘I can’t believe I said this to this guy,” he said.

Compounding his embarrassment could have been the fact that he was coincidentally sitting next to Olympic figure skating champion Johnny Weir on the early morning flight, reports Gawker. He didn’t say how the fan reacted to him, but we’re guessing he was probably pretty embarrassed. Had it been me, I think I would have started laughing uncontrollably – out of awkwardness or genuine humor, well, I will never know.

So now you know. Don’t mess with the Silver Fox when he’s trying to catch some Z’s on the red-eye.
