Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Are Not Getting Married (Yet), He Explains Pregnancy Rumors

Gwen Stefani and her boyfriend, Blake Shelton, may be completely smitten with one another, at least judging by the PDA they’ve shown off on The Voice, but according to a new report, the couple is not getting married.

While OK! Magazine reported news of Gwen Stefani’s possible wedding on December 3, claiming In Touch Weekly disclosed details of the upcoming ceremony in the latest issue of their magazine, a Gossip Cop source claimed the two are not quite ready to tie the knot — and that should come as no surprise to fans. After all, Gwen Stefani and Shelton only confirmed their romance one months ago.

Prior to Gossip Cop‘s report, which included a confirmation of In Touch Weekly‘s report being “untrue” by a rep for the singer, the magazine’s cover read, “Gwen & Blake Wedding Shocker.” Then, underneath the far-fetched headline, a bullet read, “The night she proposed to him.” The magazine also claimed Gwen Stefani and Shelton’s wedding ceremony would be “low key” with no A-listers invited.

As Gwen Stefani wedding rumors continue to swirl, despite her rep’s denial, the singer has become more open with her highly-publicized split from Gavin Rossdale, who she was married to for 13 years before filing for divorce in August. Following rumors of Rossdale’s alleged three-year affair with their nanny, Mindy Mann, which was initially reported by Us Weekly, Gwen Stefani claims to be headed for forgiveness.

“When I wrote the song, I was sorta in a phase of forgiveness,” Gwen Stefani explained during an interview for Entertainment Tonight with Elvis Duran. “In a way, I’m getting to this point now, and all the songs up to that point were like, ‘Rah, I’m like so upset and so crazy.'”

Gwen Stefani went on to reveal that “everybody knows, pretty much, what happened to me,” but wouldn’t give any details regarding whether or not she was referring to her former husband’s possible betrayal.

“I got a divorce, which completely was not in the plan at all. For me, it purely wasn’t and [it was] a shock and horrible, a crazy explosion in my life,” Gwen Stefani recalled.

Just one week after going public with their romance in Nashville, Gwen Stefani and her new boyfriend were faced with a rumor from OK! Magazine, which alleged they were expecting their first child together, the fourth child for Gwen Stefani and the first for Shelton. However, Gossip Cop quickly shot down the report, claiming it was “total BS.”

“[Gwen Stefani] made an appointment with a doctor in late October after signs pointed to her being pregnant. She’s already changed her lifestyle in preparation for the possibility. And Blake would be thrilled to become a dad,” OK! Magazine‘s source claimed, according to Gossip Cop.

In addition to Gossip Cop‘s source denying the pregnancy rumor, Gwen Stefani’s boyfriend also spoke out against it on Twitter, joking that he may have a few love children floating around.

Gwen Stefani and Shelton began working together during the seventh season of The Voice, which began airing in September of last year. Then, after Gwen Stefani failed to appear on season 8, she returned for season 9 earlier this year, and in early November, months after she and Rossdale announced their split, she and Shelton (who divorced wife Miranda Lambert in July) confirmed their relationship.
