Beyonce & Jay Z Divorce Rumors: Couple Reportedly Living Separate Lives, Planning To Split
Beyonce and Jay Z are once against surrounded by divorce rumors, with the latest reports claiming that the couple is living in different parts of their new Beverly Hills mansion and planning to split for good. The talented duo is renting the sprawling estate in the Los Angeles area, but a staffer recently told Radar Online that it doesn’t appear to be a happy home.
“Jay Z and Beyonce each have their own bedrooms,” the insider said. “They are on opposite sides of a long hallway with Blue Ivy’s room in between them.”
The couple has reportedly had other problems, including a recent report that they had a blowout fight in front of their home staff. It’s not clear whether the couple is having deep problems, however, or if it is just the result of the stress of moving into a new home.
“Beyonce blew up at Jay Z for no reason and was barking orders at everyone like she was the first person to ever move into a new home,” an insider previously told Radar Online.
“They got into a huge fight in front of everyone over how he is handling the move. He told her that they only reason they chose this place to begin with is because it is what she wanted, not him. He told her that he is really sick and tired of being her b***h,” the source told Radar at the time.
The reports come as Jay Z turns 46, and as he and Beyonce publicly put on what appears to be a happy face.

But Jay Z and Beyonce have long faced divorce rumors, including a stretch during the summer of 2014 where it seemed a split was inevitable. During the couple’s joint On The Run tour, there were constant reports of fighting, jealousy, and allegations of cheating against both Jay Z and Beyonce.
The tension was kicked off by the now-famous fight between Jay Z and Beyonce’s sister, Solange Knowles, after the Met Gala in 2014. The video showed Solange kicking and striking Jay Z before she was restrained.
Later reports claimed that Solange was furious at Jay Z for his cheating and for flirting with a former fling during the high-scale event, although those reports were never verified.
The rumors connected Jay Z to a number of big names, including Rihanna, Rita Ora, and R&B singer Mya, whom he collaborated with in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Sources said the rumors — along with Jay Z’s friendliness toward his female fans — had driven Beyonce to her breaking point.
“She’s heard all the rumors about Jay fooling around, and she can’t take it anymore. The romance is over,” In Touch magazine claimed in a report during the summer of 2014. “He was toasting champagne with the crew and friends and some women who were brought back stage. Beyonce seethed when she saw a busty blonde nuzzling into Jay’s chest and him whispering something into her ear.”
Beyonce may already be planning the divorce. Radar Online noted that she has not given a public interview in the last 18 months, dating back to the fight between Jay Z and Solange.
“It’s like she’s on lockdown and doesn’t want to be asked about her marriage or why she and Jay haven’t had another child after Blue Ivy,” the insider told In Touch in September. “But in private, she’s already told friends and family that she’s moving forward with her life. She’ll soon make a public announcement that their marriage is over.”
“It’s dead,” the insider added. “Bey is sick of keeping up the ruse of happiness, and she’s done.”
And even after the divorce rumors cooled off last summer, reports indicate that Jay Z may still be cheating on Beyonce. The In Touch report claimed that she found “suspicious texts on Jay’s phone” that led her to believe he may be carrying on an affair with a younger protege.
