Rob Kardashian Update: Kris Jenner Explains His Thanksgiving Absence, Talks Caitlyn Jenner

Rob Kardashian and his family are rumored to be involved in a feud. Last month, Celeb Dirty Laundry claimed the former reality star had moved out of his sister Khloe’s home after living with her for years and claimed he and his mother, Kris Jenner, were at odds over her decision to include Lamar Odom’s health crisis on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. However, according to Jenner, that may not be the case.

Although Rob Kardashian appeared to be absent from both Jenner’s birthday and their family’s holiday festivities on Thanksgiving, Jenner claims Rob Kardashian did take part in Thanksgiving — but only a little bit.

According to an Us Weekly report on December 3, Rob Kardashian’s mother confirmed he was “around” during their family’s Thanksgiving celebration.

“[Rob Kardashian] lives with Khloe,” Jenner explained on Maria Menounos’ SiriusXM show. “So he was around, and then went over to a buddy’s house.”

In November, several outlets claimed Rob Kardashian had moved out of Khloe’s home and back into the apartment he was living in years ago. On November 18, a source told Hollywood Life that Rob Kardashian had made the decision to begin living on his own, away from Khloe, in an effort to find his own identity. At the same time, however, the source alleged Rob Kardashian had left some of his belongings at Khloe’s house and wasn’t ready to cut the cord completely.

As for Rob Kardashian’s future, Jenner said, “[Rob Kardshian]’s doing alright. You know, he’s doing his best. He’s not into being on camera as much as the rest of us. But he’s working on himself. He’s going to be okay.”

Rob Kardashian hasn’t been seen on Keeping Up with the Kardashians since 2012, and while there have been rumors circulating that he could soon return, he hasn’t been seen on Season 11 and is not featured in the season’s trailer.

In addition to Rob Kardashian’s brief appearance during Thanksgiving, Jenner’s former husband, Caitlyn, previously known as Bruce, stopped by, as well.

“Caitlyn kind of did a drive-by, came by, spent some time, then went on to do the family rounds because everybody’s scattered all over the place,” Jenner explained. “Because we’re so busy and life is at a lightning pace sometimes, we don’t stop and feel things. So on days like Thanksgiving and when you have down time, you sit back and go ‘Wow, this is a little different than it was last year.'”

As they celebrated the holidays, the Kardashian/Jenner family posed for a photo, which the youngest sibling, Kylie, later shared on Instagram. In the photo, Jenner was joined by her daughters, Kylie, Kendall, Khloe, Kim, and Kourtney, and their partners, Kanye West, Tyga, Scott Disick, and Corey Gamble. Also included in the photo was a friend of West’s and Jenner’s four grandchildren.

In other Rob Kardashian news, the sock designer is said to be refusing to participate in his family’s annual Christmas card. According to a Hollywood Life report last month, Rob Kardashian continues to struggle with an excessive weight gain, and doesn’t feel comfortable in front of the camera.

In August, a People Magazine report claimed Rob Kardashian had gained a whopping 100 pounds in the years since he quit Keeping Up with the Kardashians but had recently lost some weight. In turn, Rob Kardashian shared his first selfie in months, which appeared to show off the weight loss. Since then, however, he has refrained from sharing many addition photos of himself.
