Cynthia Bailey At Peace With Porsha: ‘RHOA’ Star Hasn’t Forgotten Betrayal

Cynthia Bailey has been working on her marriage for a few months. During the Real Housewives of Atlanta premiere, Bailey revealed that she and Peter Thomas had struggled to keep their marriage alive. She was shocked to learn of the infamous Instagram video, where Peter is seen touching and grabbing another woman. She was heartbroken and questioned whether a divorce was the answer.

While her co-stars tried to do something for her, Cynthia Bailey was hurt and sad. She felt betrayed by her husband, so she was looking for some support and compassion. Bailey was upset prior to getting on the boat, so the last thing she needed was someone calling her names, especially the same person who had predicted that Peter Thomas was cheating on her.

According to a new Radar Online report, Cynthia Bailey is now trying to move on from the entire situation. She is clearly not proud of everything that went down on the boat, and she is trying to move on from the situation. What viewers don’t know yet is that Porsha was actually taken to the emergency room after the fight to get her stomach checked out.

“Porsha and Cynthia are friendly now,” a show insider tells Radar Online, adding, “They’re by no means best friends, and never will be. But they can get along.”

The insider reveals that Porsha may have forgiven Cynthia for the violent altercation, but she hasn’t forgotten. It has been three months since the violent altercation, so they have had the time to talk things over. Cynthia and Porsha confront one another on Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and their co-stars want them to talk about the confrontation and work things out.

“She’s fine, mentally and physically,” the insider insists, revealing that she simply hasn’t forgotten how Cynthia turned on her so fast.

It is no secret that Cynthia Bailey and Porsha aren’t close friends. The two haven’t gotten along on previous seasons of the show. And this altercation hasn’t helped their friendship. Bailey tried to explain her point of view in her Bravo blog after the episode aired.

“Once the conversation escalated, I realized it was best for me to walk away to cool off. I assumed when Porsha joined me on my recliner, she had also done the same. In an attempt to revisit our earlier conversation, I tried to clarify to her why I was offended in the first place. My words were not received, and the conversation escalated once again,” Cynthia explains in her Bravo blog.

“When Porsha made it clear that she did not feel the need to apologize to me or thank me for trying to help out in the situation, I became confused about her purpose. At that point, I repeatedly asked her to go back to the other side of the boat, because I did not want to continue to argue and insult each other. Our hands and fingers were all over the place, and the next thing I knew Porsha was straddling over me. As I was lying down looking up at her, I had a flashback of the physical altercation that she had with Kenya at the reunion. I began to feel threatened, and the situation became uncomfortable. I had to figure out how to protect myself, and my personal space,” Bailey revealed.

Cynthia believes that she only acted in self-defense. While things didn’t need to get as violent as they did, she doesn’t make any excuses for her behavior. Maybe this is why Porsha has trouble trusting her co-star.
