Was Noel Alkaramla Kidnapped? FBI Searches For Missing Woman

Authorities in New York are looking for Noel Alkaramla, who has been missing now for more than a week. TWC News reports that the circumstances surrounding her disappearance have attracted the assistance of the FBI, which indicates that this young woman may have been the victim of a crime. Numerous questions are hovering over this disappearance, and the missing woman’s loved ones are desperate to find her.

ABC News 10 reports that the 20-year-old woman was last seen leaving her place of employment at Verdile’s Restaurant, which is located in Lansingburgh. That was at around 9:00 p.m., on November 23. She hasn’t been seen since, nor has she made any contact with her loved ones since she was last seen.

At the time of her disappearance, it was reported that there may have been a person of interest — a man who worked at the restaurant with Noel Alkaramla. Troy police authorities claimed that they were in the progress of interviewing the man, who has not yet been named. This unidentified employee was supposedly responsible for driving the woman home that night.

Meanwhile, a friend of the missing woman told authorities that her last contact with her was a text. Her text said that she was on her way home, but she never made it to her destination. She made it most of the way to her home — an apartment near the corner of Washington and 4th Streets. That is also the location where a disturbing discovery was made.

The morning after she was last seen, various items from Noel’s purse were found strewn along a sidewalk. The items included one of her utility bills and other personal documents. Authorities are investigating her disappearance as “suspicious,” and for valid reasons. If the man who worked with her was supposed to drive her home that night, what happened — and why were the contents of her purse scattered near Washington and 4th?

Like with many missing person cases, social media is playing a role in the search for Noel Alkaramla. Up-to-the-minute information is being shared in regard to her disappearance, while authorities continue their search for clues behind what may have happened to her. Meanwhile, her loved ones have publicly appealed for help in seeking the missing New York woman. They have stated that it is not in her character to go missing while falling out of contact with friends and family. With this being out of the norm for Noel, they are worried that something may have happened to her.

Noel Alkaramla is just one of three people who are currently missing from this area. Authorities are still trying to find information on the disappearance of Thomas Messick, of Troy, who disappeared before he could meet up with a group for hunting. He has been missing for more than two weeks. Also missing in the area is Frederick Drumm, who vanished around Wednesday of last week. No reports are drawing any connections between these three disappearances, but the search for Noel Alkaramla appears to be taking center stage, given the disturbing nature of the details that surround her case.

Noel Alkaramla was last seen wearing black pants and a matching black blouse — her work attire. She was also wearing a tan coat with a furry hood. She stands at approximately 5’1″ and weighs 135 lbs. If you’ve seen this woman, or any items matching her clothing description, please do not hesitate to contact the authorities investigating this case at (518) 270-4411.
