Selena Gomez Being Set Up With NHL Star Tom Wilson? Is She Over Justin Bieber?
Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have been acting like they might be getting back together, but new reports make it look like she might be over him. Hollywood Life shared that Selena has a good friend who has introduced her to NHL star Tom Wilson, and this just might be what she needs to get over Justin.
Julianne Hough is actually the one who introduced them, and it looks like Selena Gomez might have found someone who could be more than a friend. Selena and Tom did meet recently, and she has been looking at his Instagram lately and liking a few of his photos. This could mean something, or Selena could just be interested in what he is up to and enjoyed making a new friend.
There is one big hold up with this idea, though. Tom Wilson actually has a girlfriend, but he isn’t engaged or married. Tom is dating 22-year-old Canadian volleyball star Taylor Pischke, which could put a damper on any plans of Selena Gomez finding love with him. Not long ago, Selena Gomez said that she would like to date older men. Tom Wilson is not that, but he is gorgeous. They do look great with each other.
Here is what Gomez had to say about it all.
“It’s hard and I’m weirded out by the idea that a guy has googled me before we meet, and that has happened. I feel like I look 16 sometimes, which is a bummer because I would love to date older guys.”
At this time, Selena Gomez and Tom Wilson are both staying quiet about what is going on. Since he does have a girlfriend, they are probably just friends, but that could end up becoming more in the future if things don’t work out for him. The fact that Selena is checking out his social media profiles shows that it wasn’t just a quick meeting and then she forgot all about him.

Celeb Buzz shared that Selena Gomez actually hates dating and talking about Justin Bieber. Gomez is on the cover of the InStyle UK’s January 2016 issue and spoke out in the magazine about life for her now. She hates that men Google her before they date, and Gomez says it’s hard to date sometimes considering she looks 16. At this time, Selena is tired of talking about Justin Bieber and their relationship — or lack of one — all the time.
“It’s really hard because I’m a nice person. I’m just tired of talking about it. I never intended for my life to become a tabloid story.”
Sources say that Selena Gomez’s best friend Taylor Swift also has plans to do all that she can to keep Selena away from Justin. Taylor will be touring in Australia, and it sounds like she will be bringing Selena Gomez along with her for part of the tour. This will keep her away from Justin, and you never know if she might just find someone new while on the road with Taylor. Of course, Taylor’s boyfriend will be out there too, and they will be enjoying Swift’s birthday while in Australia, which should be a fun time for all of them. Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have been seen getting cozy more than once, so maybe nothing can keep them apart.
