Kim Kardashian’s Booty Or Kylie Jenner’s Lips — Which Would You Choose?

There have long been whispered questions about whether or not Kylie Jenner is poised to take over as the fashion queen of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Some fans say that when Kylie’s Lip Kit sold out within minutes of the launch on Monday, she took another step toward dethroning her older sister.

Kylie’s lip kit success forces us to ask the question: If you had to choose one of the sister’s features, would it be Kim Kardashian’s booty or Kylie Jenner’s lips?

Kim Kardashian’s booty was the first of the sister’s assets to gain fame as Kylie was just a child, but in recent months Kylie Jenner’s lips have been talked, tweeted and written about just as much (if not more) than Kim K’s butt.

In fact, a source told Hollywood Life that Kylie Jenner believes her lips are now officially more famous that Kim Kardashian’s butt.

“She’s telling her friends and her sisters that her lips are the staple of the family and that they are more famous than Kim’s butt! Everyone’s excited for her.”

Kylie’s Lip Kit was launched Monday at 9 a.m. EST, and within minutes, the new lipstick line had sold out completely. Before long, the lip kits began appearing on auction sites such as eBay for as much as $350 a pop — that’s more than 12 times the original $29 price when the kits are purchased on www.LipKitByKylie.com.

The kits come in three brown colors, including Dolce K, True Brown K, and Candy K, and each kit includes one matte lipstick and one lip liner.

On Twitter Monday, the KUWTK star noted that she’d put more than two years worth of work into developing her new lip line, which included “visiting the factories and sitting in the chem room creating the perfect colors and formulas.”

The lip kit has already begun to receive reviews online, and a USA Today reviewer called Kylie’s Lip Kit “…OK.” The reviewer said the lip color went on like a crayon and tasted good, and it definitely gave a “Kylie-esque matte-lip look.”

However, the reviewer said the color quickly began to crumble and peel. Regardless, the reviewer said the lip kit did help her to achieve the pouty and bold lips Kylie Jenner has become famous for.

The lip kit doesn’t represent the first time that fans have tried to copy Kylie Jenner’s lip look. Kylie’s lips are so famous, in fact, that earlier this year kids across the country began taking the Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge, which saw people trying to plump their pouts by sticking their lips into shot glasses and sucking.
