‘RHOBH’ Star Eileen Davidson Talks Kim Richards’ Sobriety And Lingering Drama
Eileen Davidson is back for another season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and she knows that this season isn’t lacking drama despite Brandi Glanville’s exit. In fact, Davidson hasn’t talked to some of her former co-stars since the show wrapped up last year. Eileen hasn’t talked to Kim Richards since they wrapped up last year and, she doesn’t honestly know whether Kim is sober.
Eileen Davidson admits that she has only run into Richards once since leaving the show, and she was indeed sober during that quick run-in. Since the ladies stopped filming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills last year, Kim has struggled with her personal issues. She was arrested at the Beverly Hills hotel and, in a separate incident, for shoplifting, and she has spent time in rehab.
According to a new Radar Online report, Eileen Davidson is now revealing that she strongly believes Kim Richards is doing better and is trying to get her life back on track. And when Davidson saw her, she was happy to reunite.

“I only saw her once—was she doing better? She wasn’t high,” Eileen told OK! Magazine as reported by Radar Online. “So I guess that means she’s doing better. It seemed like she was very much in control of her life. But that is just from a brief encounter.”
Eileen didn’t comment on Kim’s personal issues. It is very possible that Eileen saw Kim after her arrests and didn’t want to bring anything up to upset Richards. Davidson knows that her co-star is trying to stay sober for her children, who really want their mother back.
“I was actually happy to see her. She’s been through hell this year, and I’m hoping that this is like a good thing and a good sign,” Eileen Davidson reveals to the magazine, adding, “I am hoping that she is better, and she’s on the right path to being well and healthy again. I’m always rooting for her to succeed.”
And while Eileen Davidson is very supportive of Kim, there are some Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars who are not so supportive. Lisa Rinna had nothing against Kim until Richards started making accusations, saying that Lisa’s husband, Harry Hamlin, had cheated on his wife. Lisa was shocked but asked Kim for proof. Clearly, she was just saying things to upset Lisa, but this has caused Lisa to think twice about supporting Kim. And Eileen Davidson knows how Lisa is feeling.

“I was kind of hoping that it would be the beginning of a new chapter,” Davidson told the magazine about the brawl fans see a bit of in the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills trailer, adding, “I was hoping that so much had happened that we could let bygones be bygones because some really big, more important things happened than what even happened on the show last year—I mean some real you-know-what hit the fan in her [Richards’] life. All I can say is I was really hoping that them seeing each other would transcend what happened last year. But I guess that’s not what happened unfortunately.”
While fans will get to catch up with both Davidson and Rinna, Kim isn’t an official part of the cast picture. But she has been filming with her sister Kyle Richards and her friends Yolanda Foster and Brandi Glanville. Maybe she will explain her own legal troubles in her own words to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans rather than let her co-stars do the talking for her.
