Anne Hathway Pregnant? Here’s The Evidence

Anne Hathaway has captured the hearts of many in so many roles, particularly as Fantine in Les Misérables. Now it appears she is going to have a little one to capture her heart, as rumors she is pregnant with her first child abound. Hathaway married Adam Shulman in 2012 and the Sydney Morning Herald reports that in December of 2012, she told the Telegraph that she wanted children.

“I’d like to have a few naturally and adopt. I gotta get on it, you know? I’d like to have as many as I can afford, not just financially but in terms of time, because you want to make sure each one feels special.”

According to E! Anne Hathaway also told Vogue she really wants to be a mother.

“Oh, my God. I want to be a mother, and I anticipate loving my children quite fiercely. I think about it all the time, though it’s a silly thing to think about because the kind of mother I’ll be depends on the kind of children I have. I can’t wait to meet them.”

And now Anne Hathaway is not only pregnant, but apparently already in her second trimester. E! has two sources that have confirmed the news. One source says Anne Hathaway feels great.

“Anne is in her second trimester and feeling great!”

Twitter has also lit up with the news of Anne Hathaway’s pregnancy.

Even fans were onboard.

USA Today reports that the baby bump was particularly obvious on the red carpet at the London premier of her new movie The Intern. Her baby bump is easily seen in her red carpet interview at the event.

And has Anne Hathaway herself admitted to her pregnancy? It appears this is a possibility with this very recent Instagram post.

Yet, the caption is really cryptic, so it’s hard to say for sure.

“I’ve got something like diaper rash on my chin and pantyhose on my head.”

Fans certainly thought she was revealing the truth, whether or not she was, and they sent forth many congratulations to the star.

There is no doubt that Anne Hathaway has a big heart and a lot of love to share with her new little one. This is evident in her very public support of those states who have declared they are willing to take in Syrian refugees, even after the November 13 terrorist attacks in Paris.

Contact Music reports that she made her support of the states clear when she posted a heart encircling the states on her Instagram page.

She captioned her Instagram photo with her support.

“Bravo to these states and their brave leaders for promising to accept Syrian refugees and for not letting terrorists rob them of their humanity. I know we must proceed cautiously, but we cannot forget our obligation to one another as citizens of this planet. I’m proud to quote Gov. Jack Markell of Delaware, ‘It is unfortunate that anyone would use the tragic events in Paris to send a message that we do not understand the plight of these refugees, ignoring the fact that the people we are talking about are fleeing the perpetrators of terror.’ Peace and love to all mankind.”

Her fans have had a very mixed reaction to her Instagram post, some commending her support and others condemning it. But regardless of what fans think about her views on Syrian refugees, Anne Hathaway will continue to be adored for her talent, and now her growing baby bump.
