WWE Rumors: Ric Flair Knows The Perfect Opponent For Brock Lesnar In An Equal Match

Brock Lesnar has plowed his way through the top stars of the WWE’s main roster, and none of them have ever really looked like that much of a challenge to him. The “Beast Incarnate” needs someone that can hold their own with his strength, ability, and pure talent. Well, WWE and wrestling legend Ric Flair believes that he knows exactly who would be the perfect opponent for Brock Lesnar, and that man is Cesaro.

Flair recently did an edition of the “WOOOOO! Nation” podcast where he discussed a lot of topics and one of them was both Lesnar and Cesaso. The “Nature Boy” truly thinks that feud is one that is perfect in the making and could truly benefit both men.

“I feel like Cesaro, given the opportunity and with a vehicle to convey his thoughts, whether it be through himself or through a manager, which would be me, you could get him ready for Brock Lesnar in two months and the people would believe it. He’s that strong and he’s good [of] a performer. And he’s that big. You’re not going to bounce Cesaro around like a dart.”

Flair has an extremely valid point that Cesaro would now be thrown around “like a dart” by Lesnar. No, John Cena is no slouch, and neither is Roman Reigns, and The Undertaker certainly isn’t. Still, Cesaro has shown ungodly amounts of strength and power over his time in WWE and it’s incredibly believable that he could go toe-to-toe with Lesnar.

Ric Flair is of the same belief and thinks that not only could Cesaro handle his own, but believes that he’s the strongest man in all of WWE.

“I think he could be a great opponent for Brock Lesnar. I mean, you’d need to stay on him because his work is phenomenal, he looks like a million bucks, and he’s stronger than a horse in real life. He’s really strong, strongest guy in the company, and that came right from John Cena.”

Unfortunately, this is a feud and match that won’t be seen for quite some time. As stated by Bleacher Report, Cesaro did just have surgery for a torn rotator cuff and will be out of commission for a number of months. According to what Cesaro was told, it will be four to six months.

He joins an ever-growing list of WWE superstars that are in danger of missing out on WrestleMania 32 in early April. While that’s still four months off, it would be at the very earliest possible date he could return so nothing is known just yet.

Cesaro knows that his time out will depend on how surgery goes, and it looks like things went all right.

Cesaro had been getting right back into the middle of a big push from WWE after being held back, which came right after a first mega push. This injury is so ill-timed and one that could not have come at a worse time for both him and the company.

With so many injuries to top stars (Seth Rollins, Big Show, Daniel Bryan) and others out due to time off (John Cena, Undertaker, Brock Lesnar), Cesaro really could have had a huge chance.

Now, the world must wait for the “King of Swing” to heal up and return to the ring better and stronger than ever. Ric Flair is anxiously awaiting Cesaro’s return and hopes that when he comes back, WWE puts him up against the other strongest man in the company: Brock Lesnar.
