Taylor Swift Concerned About Selena Gomez As Her BFF Contemplates Justin Bieber ‘Revival’ While Dating Niall Horan
Taylor Swift believes in girl power, and that means when it comes to best friends such as Selena Gomez, Swift is determined to help her BFF avoid repeating problems with guys that Swift herself suffered. So, as Selena seems to be contemplating a revival of her relationship with Justin Bieber just as her new album, Revival, is making a hit, Swift has some advice to offer, reports Hollywood Life.
When Swift learned that despite their highly-publicized split, Gomez had been seen in what appeared to be a series of dates with Bieber, Swift immediately became concerned that her 23-year-old BFF was making a bad mistake in even contemplating a reconciliation.
“Taylor doesn’t like Justin, that is not a newsflash at all, but she knows that she can’t mother Selena forever,” an insider told Hollywood Life. “Taylor learned the hard way about relationships by going through bad ones and now she is happy with Calvin [Harris]. Taylor is hoping that Selena’s reconciliation with Justin is brief and a learning experience because Taylor knows she can’t do anything about it and talk her out of it.”
In addition, the insider revealed that Swift has attempted to persuade her BFF to split permanently on numerous occasions from the 21-year-old pop idol. But, it just hasn’t worked. Consequently, says that source, Swift is concerned that Gomez may not recognize that, in Swift’s opinion, she’s “way better” solo than as the duo known as Jelena.
Selena and Niall were seen at a dinner at the chic Nobu Malibu. Although other celebrities such as One Direction singer Liam Payne were also present, rumors immediately began to swirl that Horan had nabbed the popular singer as his newest girlfriend.
Is Niall a good possibility for Taylor’s BFF? He’s viewed as easy-going and nice. Meanwhile, tabloids are emphasizing that despite fans’ hopes for a return of “Jelena,” Gomez is still single at 23.
“It’s really hard because I’m a nice person. I’m just tired of talking about it. I never intended for my life to become a tabloid story,” said the 23-year-old.

“People have this fantasy that we’re in our underwear, having pillow fights. We just play good music – sometimes live – and eat, and hang out….’I’ll be like, “I think I totally screwed up”, but Taylor says, ‘Actually, you didn’t’ and shows me how to make my mistakes into something great.”
“It hurt my feelings because I never experienced that before, but I didn’t want [that] to be the story, so I said, ‘I don’t care what you think!'” declared the pop singer defiantly.
Taylor Swift has become known for her “girl squad” and belief in girl power, but when it comes to staying friends for a long time, Swift and Selena win the prize, reports MTV.
Who gets credit? The Jonas Brothers. The girls united in 2008 after Swift dated Joe, while her soon-to-be BFF was going out with Nick.
The duo have appeared everywhere together from the red carpet Another Cinderella Story premiere to dinner and a play. In an interview, Taylor Swift revealed that their bond goes beyond friendship; she regards her pal Selena as a “sister.”
