Khloe Kardashian Has ‘Hospital Thanksgiving’ With Lamar Odom, Calls 2015 ‘The Worst Year Of My Life’

Khloe Kardashian has revealed that she will have a “hospital thanksgiving” alongside Lamar Odom after hosting a meal at her home with her family and friends.

In a lengthy post to her website, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star explained that after hosting her family and friends at her home to celebrate the holiday, she will then make a trek to the hospital to spend time with her husband, who is still in recovery following his drug overdose in October.

Writing on her website for a post entitled, “Why I’m Extra Thankful This Thanksgiving,” which she captioned with a picture of herself and her sisters Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Kim Kardashian, Khoe wrote, “After our family Thanksgiving dinner is over, I invite friends to join, especially friends who don’t have family around.”

She added, “So we have a family Thanksgiving, a friends Thanksgiving, and this year I will also be having a hospital Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a time to gather around love ones.”

“Whether they are blood or bond… to be grateful for all that we have been so abundantly blessed with and also to spare a few thoughts and prayers for those not so lucky. No matter where you are in life you can always find something to be thankful for.”

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Khloe Kardashian took to her Twitter account to reveal that 2015 had been the worst of her life.

However, she also told one of her followers that she was improving everyday after she contracted a staph infection. She gave further details of her condition over the weekend, via E Online, writing, “Mine was exacerbated by stress which is not a great combo. I’m under great medical care & receiving tons of love!”

But in the blog post on her website, Khloe Kardashian insisted that even though 2015 had been the worst year of her life, she is still trying to put “thing in perspective” and insists that is a stronger person because of it.

“I am someone who tries to always keep things in perspective,” she wrote. “This year I have a deeper insight and possibly a deeper perspective now. I pride myself as someone who does live in the moment and as someone who shows gratitude in every corner. And I have been blessed this year with me getting another layer of what I am thankful for.”

Khloe Kardashian, who uploaded numerous pictures of her mother, Kris Jenner, as well as other images of Caitlyn Jenner and her sisters to the post, also spoke about how important each and every member of them have been to her over the course of the year.

“On Thanksgiving, my family and I always go around the dinner table and say what we’re thankful for as I’m sure most families in America do. This year, I’m overly thankful my family.”

“My family has been through a ton of trials and tribulations mixed with blessings on blessings on blessings. But when times get tough, my family seems to thrive and band together. We find a way to always persevere. Rise above the ashes!!”

“Without my crazy, chaotic, amazing family, I’m not sure how I could have gone through some of the things that I was tested with this year. I’m sure we say we are all thankful for our families.”

“And I think that is the most beautiful thing to be thankful for, but every night I thank the Lord for blessing me with the world’s best support system and team of unconditional love.”
