Lisa Vanderpump Tweets Vicki Gunvalson Support, Says She Feels Sorry For Her
One person who has sympathy for Vicki Gunvalson is Lisa Vanderpump. On Monday night, Lisa, one of the stars of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, tweeted that she feels sorry for Vicki. Lisa pointed out that being a strong businessperson doesn’t necessarily mean always making the right decisions when it comes to emotional matters.

Vicki retweeted Lisa’s tweet and thanked her for the support. Vicki added that she never in her wildest dreams thought that she would be in the current situation she’s in because of loving and trusting someone.

On Monday, Vicki made a special appearance on Andy Cohen’s talk show, Watch What Happens Live, to address the whole Brooks Ayers’ cancer drama. While she maintained throughout the filming of Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County that Brooks really does have cancer and lashed out at the other housewives for questioning and doubting it, she finally admitted on the reunion show that her gut tells her that Brooks doesn’t have cancer, and that she has been duped. During her interview with Andy, Vicki adamantly denied that she schemed with Brooks to lie about him having cancer. She maintained that she’s only guilty of loving and trusting Brooks.

Vicki explained to Andy when she began doubting Brooks’ cancer, and how she questioned him but he would just shut her out. She also speculated that Brooks, who was living with her prior to and during the filming of the tenth season, ingested eye drops in order to make himself so sick. While Vicki denied that she actively participated in any lie, she did admit that she ignored a lot of red flags and that she “pushed things under the rug” because she was lonely. She explained that she chose to stick the relationship out because didn’t want to deal with a breakup during filming. She also apologized to her co-stars, but added that they need to understand her dilemma.
Many viewers have wondered how Vicki Gunvalson, a woman who has built a successful insurance business, Coto Insurance, could really have believed Brooks’ story for so long, despite all of his inconsistencies and defensiveness. Lisa Vanderpump, herself a successful businesswoman, clearly believes that Vicki chose to follow her heart rather than her brain when it comes to Brooks.
Lisa isn’t the only person from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to tweet Vicki support. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Brandi Glanville recently criticized Vicki’s co-stars for going after her, and opined that Vicki was simply “d**kmatized” by Brooks.
Not everyone is buying into what Vicki said on Watch What Happens Live. As the Inquisitr reported, her co-stars, Meghan King Edmonds and Shannon Beador, have already lashed out at Vicki for continuing to lie about what she knew and her level of participation in Brooks’ supposed lie. While Meghan simply tweeted her criticism, Shannon went so far as recording and posting a 10-minute video, in which she pointed out all of Vicki’s lies.
Brooks Ayers has also given his reaction to what Vicki Gunvalson said. Brooks, who has admitted that he fabricated medical documents in order to prove to Vicki’s The Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars that he has cancer, told Mr. Real Housewife after Vicki’s interview aired that Vicki used him.
