Corey Simms’ Ex-Wife Poses With Their Twins: See ‘Teen Mom 2’ Christmas Photos

Corey Simms and his wife, Miranda, are currently in the hospital with their daughter, Remi, who was born prematurely earlier this month. Meanwhile, Corey Simms’ Teen Mom 2 ex-wife, Leah Messer, enjoyed time with their 5-year-old twins, Ali and Aleeah, over the weekend, and she posed for Christmas photos with her family.

In a number of photos shared by the reality star on Facebook on November 21, Corey Simms’ former partner was seen posing with their daughters, as well as her third child, Adalynn, whose father is her second ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert. Messer was also seen posing with her siblings, Isaac and Victoria, her mother, Dawn Spears, and her step-father.

On November 23, Radar Online reported news of the photos of Corey Simms’ twins, noting the shoot comes just weeks after she lost custody of the girls.

Last month, In Touch Weekly revealed the mother of three’s custody loss, claiming her ex-husband, Corey Simms, had been granted primary custody of the girls due to Messer’s failure to get them to school in a timely fashion.

Corey Simms “was awarded primary custody, effective immediately” on October 13, a source told the magazine. “Leah only gets the girls on the weekends now.”

Corey Simms filed for full custody of his twins in 2014 as rumors swirled regarding his ex-wife’s possible drug use. And since then, the source claimed, her behavior has failed to improve.

“Leah’s really been screwing up since then, so [Corey Simms] took her back to court. The judge looked at the girls’ school records, which show that they’ve been late for school, and made the change in custody.”

In addition to news of Corey Simms being awarded custody of the girls, In Touch Weekly claimed a terrifying incident involving the reality star’s third child, Adalynn, recently took place in West Virginia, leading her second husband, Calvert, to consider filing for full custody, as well.

“Everyone is very worried about Addie. She recently wandered out of the house while [she] was distracted. Thankfully, a police officer found Addie and brought her back home. If [Jeremy] can find [a job] nearby, he’ll go for the same custody arrangement that [Corey Simms] did.”

Corey Simms was married to his ex-wife for just months before the pair separated after she admitted to cheating on him with her ex-boyfriend, Robbie Kidd. She then went on to marry Calvert a short time later, and in June 2013, Corey Simms married his now-wife, Miranda. Unfortunately, however, Corey Simms’ newlywed bliss was short-lived, and just months into his marriage, he and his ex-wife got back together and engaged in an affair.

“There was an overlap where you guys were still together when Miranda hit the scene,” Dr. Drew Pinsky said to Corey Simms and his ex-wife, hinting at their affair during the Teen Mom 2 season six reunion, which aired months ago on MTV.

“Things happened that shouldn’t have happened and it was disrespectful to Miranda. I apologized,” Corey Simms’ ex-wife explained.

“She’s let that go. Me and Miranda have moved past it,” Corey Simms added.

Corey Simms and his wife, Miranda, have been pinned as the bad guys on social media due to their harsh comments about his ex-wife during Teen Mom 2 season six. However, many fans agree that Corey Simms has every right to be concerned and do what he has to do in order to ensure his two children are safe and provided for.
