Justin Bieber: Grammys Take Notice, Beliebers Want Artist To Be Nominated And Win After ‘Purpose’ Breaks Records [Videos, Photos]

Justin Bieber may soon be nominated for and win his first Grammy if Beliebers have their way. The 21-year-old artist has been riding the wave of success after his new album, Purpose, garnered critical praise and smashed records, according to Billboard. It also secured the 21-year-old’s footing in the music world and pop culture.

Whatever you may have thought of Justin Bieber in the past pales in comparison to how he is being received now. In fact, things are going so well for Justin Bieber that it looks like he and his on-again-off-again-but-never-stopped-loving relationship with Selena Gomez is back on track. Is there anything else that could make Justin Bieber’s world a bit perfect right now or to give it more purpose than his new album has delivered? According to Justin Bieber’s loyal fans (dubbed Beliebers) yes, there is — a Grammy. They are putting out the social media blasts in hopes of securing Justin that musically coveted nomination.

The Grammys opened themselves for social media interaction by asking the public to tweet their preferences for nominees by using the hashtag #Grammys. They will reveal the nominee on December 7, and the announcement has pit several fan bases against one another. Primarily, One Direction fans and the Beliebers are doing their best to take over social media networks and get the nomination.

Justin Bieber has numerous nominations and awards to his credit. He has been nominated twice for a Grammy. In 2011, he was nominated for best new artist, and his album My World 2.0 was nominated for Best Pop Album. A nomination is great, however, his fans want more: an actual Grammy or Grammys win. While the public and Beliebers will need to wait several weeks to see if Justin Bieber gets a Grammy nomination, he continues to break records and garner praise for Purpose.

Justin Bieber has added another Guiness Book of World Records achievement to his credit. In addition to setting records in 2012 and 2014, he set a record for being the youngest male artist to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 list.

Justin Bieber has already won several awards for 2015. His collaboration with Skrillex and Diplo resulted in an American Music Award for “Where Are U Now?” He won the 2015 Billboard award for Most Social Artist and several MTV Europe Music Awards. A Grammy win may stand out from many of Justin Bieber’s other recent awards, which focus more on his social media presence than his musical talent and abilities. Beliebers are working overtime to make sure Justin Bieber gets the musical recognition he deserves.

To date, Justin Bieber’s Purpose has debuted or peaked at number one in Australia, Canada, Holland, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, and the United States. Purpose has been certified platinum in Brazil, gold in Mexico, and silver in the United Kingdom. Considering the CD was released worldwide on November 13, the speed in which Purpose has climbed charts is beyond impressive. What do you think? Is it time for Justin Bieber to win one or multiple Grammys?

As to whether or not Justin Bieber wins a Grammy this year remains to be seen. Many Beliebers have shared concern over Adele’s new album, 25, and worry that if anyone is going to get a nomination and stand in Justin Bieber’s Grammy dreams, it would be Adele.
