Louis Tomlinson And Harry Styles: Does It Look Like Hate To You?

One Direction stars Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles joined bandmates Liam Payne and Niall Horan on the red carpet at Sunday’s American Music Awards. Seeing Tomlinson and the rest of One Direction win more awards was hardly a surprise. After all, Louis and the boys have scooped an incredible 174 awards from 319 nominations in their five-year career. Just think about that for one moment. Louis and One Direction have been nominated for an award every six days and won an award every 10 days for the last five years. No matter your opinion on One Direction’s music, their success is nothing short of incredible.

If One Direction’s success is remarkable, so too is their ability to generate headlines. Not a day passes without a rumor being generated, and in recent weeks, it has been claimed that One Direction’s forthcoming hiatus is largely the result of the fact that Harry and Louis simply do not get on. The claim seems to have originated in the U.K. tabloid the Sun. According to the Mirror, the Sun claimed that Harry and Louis are embroiled in a “bitter feud” that goes back years.

“Apart from Harry and Louis, no one knows exactly what caused the falling out – they didn’t even tell the other boys the full details.

“But it was very serious and their friendship has never recovered. Everyone involved in the band is well aware of the animosity between them. It’s been central to everything else that came next with the band because there was suddenly a massive divide.”

There have been claims that Harry and Louis won’t even travel together on the same aircraft and that the boys have not even been together in the studio when their last three albums have been recorded.

Of course, the so-called source of these claims is unnamed, and Harry and Louis strongly deny that the stories are true. If there’s any truth to the rumor, then Harry and Louis hide it well. Capital FM published pictures that show a clearly delighted Tomlinson hugging Styles as they are announced as award winners at Sunday’s American Music Awards. It is often said that “a picture paints a thousand words,” so does that look like a picture of two guys who can’t abide each other?

Much has been made of the fact that Louis did not know which designer was responsible for his suit at the AMA’s. The Mirror claimed the short interview with Giuliana Rancic was the “most awkward ever.” To be fair to Rancic, it couldn’t have been easy to interview 1D while Tomlinson and Liam Payne engaged in horseplay beside her.

Perhaps the most amusing revelation at the American Music Awards came when Louis and Niall were locked out of the auditorium. Tomlinson and Horan were pictured seated on the steps outside as the awards went on inside. Niall and Louis can be seen staring at their cellphones in a picture that was shared by Louis’ mom, Johannah Deakin. Thankfully, both Louis and Niall were allowed back inside in time to collect their awards.

As always, the internet was awash with rumors claiming that Niall and Louis were on the “naughty step” because they were fooling around inside. Metro reveals that the real reason for Louis and Niall’s exclusion was much more mundane. Louis and Niall were simply waiting for a commercial break so that they could return to their seats.

Numerous pictures have emerged of Louis and Harry enjoying each others company. Styles and Tomlinson seem very relaxed with each other. When you look at these images does it look like Harry and Louis Tomlinson hate each other?
