Gwen Stefani Admits Love For Blake Shelton, Adding Sour Note To Adam Levine’s Bromance On ‘The Voice’ [Photos]

Gwen Stefani has been rumored to have more than a platonic relationship with Blake Shelton. Now, after photos of the two holding hands sparked questions about whether Gwen and Blake might be turning their friendship into a romance, Stefani finally has revealed how she really feels. But when asked by ET to discuss what she’s thankful for when it comes to The Voice coaches, Gwen caught everyone off guard by starting with Adam Levine.

“I’m just so grateful that I got to know Adam,” shared Stefani. “It’s weird because he’s such a good person, he’s literally so smart and he’s so witty and talented and I’ve just learned so much.”

Levine then took his turn to dish on his bromance with Blake, unable to resist the opportunity to tease Shelton while following through with the question about what made him thankful.

“F**k Blake. I’ve known Blake for too long. Blake’s just my buddy,” teased Adam. “I’m just kidding. I love you, Blake! Kinda. Ish.”

And that’s when Gwen gave into temptation.

“I love you too, Blake. Ish,” crooned Stefani.

Although spokespeople for both Shelton and Gwen confirmed that they had gone from being pals to something more romantic, the statement from Stefani went viral. And it added to the evidence that their romance was going strong, with PDA such as hugs.

Levine claimed that his role is to play protector, but when Adam heard the 46-year-old pop singer say that she loved the 39-year-old country crooner, he immediately let loose.

“You screwed yourself on that one!” Levine taunted Stefani. “I protect you and you do something like that?!”

But sometimes actions speak louder than words, and Hollywood Life reported that new evidence has emerged from The Voice that Gwen and Shelton are going strong in the romance department.

A contestant gets credit for sharing how close Stefani and Blake have become, while also revealing that Shelton remains dedicated to caring about the participants on The Voice. In the photo below, Shelton gets up close and personal with his new girlfriend as he beams, but he also shows his affection for the contestant responsible for sharing all the good vibrations on The Voice.

The contestant, Zach Seabaugh, is from Marietta, Georgia, and he tweeted it all and shared it on social media. Gwen participated fully in the cuddle contest, as shown below.

In addition, during advertising breaks while filming The Voice, Gwen and Blake have been enjoying some special moments together that only the on-set audience for the show, the contestants, and the crew got to view. During one commercial break, Shelton could not resist giving Stefani a kiss, and Gwen hopped into his arms at another point. They also texted each other and exchanged glances during the live love fest.

So how do contestants feel about this? Zach made it clear that he adores both Stefani and Shelton.

“@gwenstefani chose this filter. Love these peeps!!!! @blakeshelton #VoiceTop11 #KohlsGreenRoom,” tweeted Seabaugh for the photo showing the happy trio.

As for Levine and Shelton’s bromance, don’t blame Stefani, according to E! News.

The two have been bros throughout eight seasons of The Voice, but when Adam and Gwen repeatedly lost desirable country artists to Blake, Levine lost his cool over the “country mafia” and broke up the bromance.

Adam attacked the way in which Shelton attracts contestants to Team Blake.

” ‘I’m from a place’ and they’re like, ‘Well, I’m from a place’ and, like, ‘Okay!’ Dumbest thing ever!” stormed Levine.

Blake just grinned as Adam called the country crooner’s approach both “dumb [and] stupid.” And when Shelton questioned as to why Levine was ranting, Adam shot back at his former bro.

“You bother me,” Levine asserted.
