Russian Plane And Pilot Videos: Russian Warplane Allegedly Shot Down By Turkey, Pilot Dead [Graphic Video]

There are two videos making the rounds online, with the first one purporting to show the moment that a Russian warplane was shot down after it allegedly entered Turkish airspace. As seen in the following video, titled “Warplane crashes in Syria near Turkey border Turkish media VIDEO,” the jet can be seen going down in flames. The 34-second video also shows the warplane crashing to the ground. Uploaded to YouTube on November 24, the video has received more than 4,000 views, and its description contains more information about the Russian warplane that was allegedly shot down.

“Raw footage from the Turkish television channel Haberturk shows a war plane on fire and falling to the ground in the region of the Syrian/Turkish border. Russian media are reporting that the plane is an SU24 belonging to Russia.”

According to CNN, the the Russian plane was downed at Turkey-Syria border. The plane crashed on Tuesday, with Turkey claiming that the Russian warplane was invading Turkish borders. The Russian warplane ended up crashing as flames streamed out of the plane near the Turkey-Syria border.

The authorities from Turkey claim that the Russian warplane violated Turkish airspace. They also claim that they issued warnings to the Russian warplane and that those warnings were ignored. The region where the Russian warplane was downed is a very unstable part of the world. The downing of the Russian warplane only served to further increase tensions near the Turkish-Syria border.

The plane apparently being shot down was Turkey’s response to the Russian warplane allegedly ignoring repeated warnings that Turkey claims it gave to the Russian aircraft after the warplane continued violating Turkey’s airspace and didn’t heed the warnings given by Turkish authorities.

Another, more graphic video claims to show the pilot of the downed Russian warplane, as reported by Heavy.

Warning: The video claiming to be that of the deceased pilot of the crashed Russian warplane is graphic and might be disturbing to some viewers.

The actions of Turkey downing a Russian warplane near the Syrian border, as reported by Yahoo News, are being decried by Russia. Russia claims that it did not violate Turkey’s airspace. As a result, Moscow is saying that it can offer proof that their Russian plane did not leave Syrian airspace at the time it was shot down by Turkish fighter jets.

It is unclear whether the above video actually shows the pilot who was killed when the Russian-made warplane was shot down. The person shown in the above video doesn’t appear to be as badly burned as one would expect after such a crash or ejection, and to have video footage of the event so soon seems unlikely, but possible.

The man featured in the above video reported to be the deceased pilot near the Syrian border does appear to be wearing the straps featured on a parachute, which means the pilot could’ve attempt to eject from the burning plane on Tuesday prior to it crashing to the ground in a ball of flames. Either way, claims that the downing of the Russian plane will come with serious consequences are being reported.

Sources from Turkey claim that the warplane shot down on Tuesday was a Russian-made SU-24.

Putin called the Russian plane being shot down a “stab in the back.”

As seen in the above photo, Su-24 bombers rehearsed in Baltiysk, Russia, on May 7, 2015. It was during a Victory Day parade that celebrated the 70th anniversary of the end of the “Great Patriotic War,” which lasted from 1941 to 1945. The celebration marked the end of World War II in Europe.
