Pop diva Jennifer Lopez opened the 2015 American Music Awards with a show-stopping performance to a medley of hit songs and an epic change of wardrobe.
On Sunday, Lopez conquered the AMAs stage and served as the night’s host. She began the show with a slowed-down version of her upbeat 1999 hit, “Waiting for Tonight,” then told the audience: “Tonight isn’t about me, it’s about the music. And this year the music made me want to dance.”
Lopez surprised the audience with an exhilarating medley of this year’s hit songs, starting from Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” to rapper Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen,” Nicki Minaj’s hit, “Anaconda,” and Drake’s “Hotline Bling.”
She then slowed things down a bit with Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” before performing to Chris Brown’s track, “Love More,” and Justin Bieber’s “Where Are Ü Now?”
The “On the Floor” singer wore a printed skin-tight bodysuit and a pair of furry heels for her epic dance performance. She wore a puffy jacket with fur trimmings over her patterned bodysuit, and let her hair loose as she danced to the eight-minute long medley.
While they were up onstage, the camera caught Nicki Minaj looking unimpressed as Jennifer Lopez danced to “Anaconda.”

That night will be remembered not only because of the well-choreographed opening number, but J.Lo’s stunning outfits, as well.
After the grand performance, Lopez quickly changed to outfit number two — a glittery pink long-sleeved gown with a flared skirt. She wore a pair of sparkly pumps and finished off her look with a top bun and light makeup.

Jennifer Lopez recalled how the American Music Awards inspired her as a young artist to dream of becoming a singer and performer.
“As a kid in the Bronx I watched the American Music Awards every year… they became my heroes,” the singer said.
“This show truly inspired me and made me dream that one day I could be one of the lucky ones to appear onstage and perform for you, the fans of music everywhere. So here I am, my dream has come true.”
When Lopez appeared again onstage, she showed off her figure in a gold mesh gown with a beige bandeau underneath. The dress was cinched at the waist with a gold belt, and she wore her long brown hair in a ponytail.
The host changed again into another long-sleeved gold gown, although this one has a plunging neckline and a high front slit. She sported a darker lip shade this time, wore her hair down, and accessorized with gold drop earrings to match her outfit. Replacing her silver high heels, Lopez wore a pair of strappy heels.
The pop singer came back onstage wearing a black see-through lace number to present the Best New Artist Award to country crooner Sam Hunt.

Lopez changed yet again into a yellow jumpsuit, featuring a deep neckline and cape-like sleeves. The yellow jumpsuit suited her well, as it highlighted her gorgeous complexion. After that, she resumed her hosting duties wearing jumpsuit No. 2, which was made of sheer fabric with a pattern of silver stars.
Jennifer Lopez had a number of sheer dresses made for the American Music Awards. She slipped into a see-through floor length gown with silver train and silver paisley details for her ninth outfit.
The singer ended the show with another revealing gown. For her final outfit, she displayed her hourglass figure with a powder blue dress with lots of straps that offered a glimpse of her toned abs and butt.
