Stassi Schroeder Returns To ‘Vanderpump Rules,’ Co-Stars React

Stassi Schroeder was a bit confused about her future earlier this year, which is why she quit Vanderpump Rules in May, and returned to the show just months later. Although Stassi Schroeder is certainly allowed to have a change of heart, not everyone was happy when they learned she’d be back, and during a new interview, a few of her co-stars are weighing in on the return.

“My feeling on it is I don’t really trust [Stassi Schroeder]’s authenticity because of how she came back. And you will see more of that later on in the season,” Tom Sandoval told Wetpaint Entertainment, according to a November 23 report.

While Sandoval seemed to hint that Stassi Schroeder’s sudden return was the result of her wanting to make nice with her former friends, he questioned whether she really wanted to “mend” her friendships.

During Season 3, Stassi Schroeder officially cut off Katie Maloney as a friend after Maloney opted to settle her differences with Scheana Marie, who Stassi Schroeder didn’t like. According to Maloney, making amends with Scheana was not only good for her, but also good for her relationship, since she and husband Mike Shay were close with her now-fiancé, Tom Schwartz. However, according to Stassi Schroeder, Maloney’s decision was a complete betrayal, as she knew how she felt about their co-stars.

Jax Taylor, Stassi Schroeder’s ex-boyfriend, admitted he wasn’t too surprised at her return, but also said he wasn’t okay with the hateful things she said about him and his co-stars, as well as how she’s “bashed” the show.

Still, however, he told Wetpaint Entertainment, “It’s nice to have [Stassi Schroeder] back.”

During the Season 4 trailer for Vanderpump Rules, Stassi Schroeder was seen meeting with Taylor one-on-one for the first time since they split nearly three years ago. And while fans would likely expect them to be at one another’s throats, due to things that have been said and done in recent years, their meeting was quite civil, and even seemed a bit flirty.

As for Schwartz, Maloney’s fiancé, who was once close to Stassi Schroeder, he doesn’t seem too happy about her return.

“[Stassi Schroeder] definitely wasn’t welcome back with open arms by any means,” Schwartz explained. “But we’re working on it.”

Schwartz also said Stassi Schroeder could use some humble pie.

In addition to Sandoval’s comment to Wetpaint Entertainment about Stassi Schroeder’s return, the SUR Lounge bartender, and boyfriend of Ariana Madix, also spoke out earlier this month, questioning her decision to come back to the show after previously proclaiming she was far too good for the Bravo series.

“As far as [Stassi Schroeder] saying everything she said last season about not returning, I tend to take people on their actions,” Sandoval explained to Popdust of Stassi Schroeder just weeks ago.

“[Stassi Schroeder] said she was too good and obviously she wasn’t because she’s back. I’m definitely not a big fan of [Stassi Schroeder] and I never really put up with her s**t. She talked a lot of s**t on us and the show. I can’t really trust her intentions with coming back. It’s to further [Stassi Schroeder]’s career, not because she truly wants to fix friendships.”
