Vicki Gunvalson Comes Clean: ‘I Was Never Threatened To Be Booted From The Show’

Vicki Gunvalson is trying to clear her name after a long and damaging season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Gunvalson was shocked that her co-stars were so quick to judge when she didn’t want to talk about Brooks Ayers’ illness. And the more she refused to talk about it, the more her co-stars wanted to talk what she knew.

Since wrapping up the season, Vicki Gunvalson hasn’t really talked to her co-stars. Shannon Beador, Tamra Barney, and Heather Dubrow all revealed that they didn’t want to film with Vicki next season, and they all questioned whether they even wanted to be friends with her. As it turns out, Gunvalson is now trying to rebuild her group of friends, even though it is painful for her.

According to a new Radar Online report, Vicki Gunvalson is now revealing that she was never forced to talk about Brooks Ayers on the show by Bravo. In fact, the network didn’t give her any ultimatums when it came to her storyline.

“Facts are, I was never threatened to be booted from the show,” Vicki is now revealing, sharing that she was never forced or threatened by Bravo to share Brooks’ cancer as part of her storyline.

This was something that was brought up earlier this year. It is possible that this story came from Ayers, who felt he was forced to share his illness on the show. Vicki did repeatedly try to shut down comments about his illness, but she ended up in a corner. Her co-stars believed that she could be hiding something in regards to his illness since she didn’t want to talk about it. Now, Gunvalson is being accused of lying.

“If the viewers remember I did NOT want Brooks health issues to be part of the show,” Vicki Gunvalson is now saying, adding, “I always said ‘I don’t want to talk about it,’ and tried to shut it down.”

These days, Gunvalson is starting to put the puzzle pieces together. She believes that he may have lied about having cancer. While Brooks has admitted to lying about the cancer documents, Vicki was shocked that he could possibly have faked the entire illness altogether. Gunvalson said that she believed him because she saw him violently ill in the home they shared. Now, Vicki is learning that he could have taken medicine while perfectly healthy to make him ill to fool her.

“I actually contacted a couple of people and they said you can actually take eye drops and they can make you violently ill. I don’t know if he did that. That’s pretty sick, but I witnessed him with fevers and night sweats and chills,” Gunvalson has revealed about him possibly faking the illness, according to E! Online.

As for Brooks, he is staying silent these days. He has relocated to Florida, and he is trying to rebuild his life away from the Real Housewives of Orange County drama. He claims that he will never be with Vicki Gunvalson again.

“Words cannot express the deep regret that I have in fabricating documents to ‘prove’ to the world that I, in fact, have cancer. What I did was wrong and inexcusable. I acted alone, without Vicki’s knowledge, to produce documents for a reality TV show in hopes of putting doubts about my cancer to rest,” Ayers told E! News a few weeks ago in his official apology, adding, “I never intended to disclose my actual medical records or details about my private and personal medical history, thus the rationalization of presenting documents that weren’t true simply for a ‘storyline’ for the show.”

What do you think of Vicki Gunvalson’s explanation that he may have faked cancer by taking eye drops?
