‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Will Eric’s Drinking Cost One Salem Resident Their Life?

Days of Our Lives fans are still reeling from the news that Bo Brady has a brain tumor, but Bo won’t be the only Salem resident to die this winter. Reports are revealing that another DOOL favorite is on his way out, and that Eric Brady could be the cause of the exit.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, actor Shawn Christian, who plays Dr. Daniel Jonas on Days of Our Lives, is leaving the soap, and it looks like he’s going to die instead of simply leave town. The report suggests that Eric Brady’s drinking may actually end Daniel’s life.

Days of Our Lives viewers have seen Eric really knocking back the alcohol as of late. It’s safe to say that Sami Brady’s twin brother isn’t having the easiest time in life right now. He left the Priesthood, was nearly killed by Xander, professed his love to Nicole only to have her end up in the arms of Daniel, his girlfriend, Serena Mason, was murdered by the necktie killer, and then he lost the Basic Black photography job to a big name photographer.

It’s true Eric Brady is going through a rough patch, but will his drinking actually end Daniel’s life? The report claims that Eric could possibly drink way too much, per usual lately, and get behind the wheel of his car only to hit another car, which may be driven by Dr. Daniel Jonas, and kill him.

Will Eric know what he’s done, will he do a hit and run, or will he own to the possible disaster? It should be very interesting to see exactly how Daniel Jonas leaving Days of Our Lives and what will become of his fiancée, Nicole Walker, when he’s gone. Will Nicole fall back in to the arms of Eric Brady, even if he’s responsible for Daniel’s death, or could she possibly end up falling for Daniel’s doctor friend, Finn?

Meanwhile, Days of Our Lives viewers have not been complaining about lack of drama on the NBC soap. DOOL has been bringing it each and every week by returning fan favorite characters long since gone such as Bo Brady, Shawn Brady, Steve “Patch” Johnson, and Andre DiMera. They storylines have been on point, and have everyone talking.

Most recently, Bo and Hope Brady’s reunion left everyone swooning. However, Bo and Hope’s love story won’t have a happy ending. Although they got to spend Bo’s last days together, he’s been diagnosed with a brain tumor and Hope will have to deal with the fact that Bo’s gone and that she’s lost two husbands (Bo and Aiden) in a matter of days.

Days of Our Lives fans can also look forward to Thanksgiving this week as Shawn Brady’s wife, Belle Black, and their daughter, Claire, will return to Salem to offer support to Shawn and the rest of the Brady clan. However, Shawn and Belle fans will be in for a shock as a huge bombshell about their marriage will be revealed. Can Shawn and Belle make it through their own rough patch, or will their love sadly be lost? Perhaps Hope can make them understand that wasting time apart from the person you love isn’t worth it, and that life is too short to not be together as she and Bo had to unfortunately learn that lesson the hard way.

Christmas is also coming in Salem, and the Horton family knows how to do it up right. It should be a fun, yet emotional, holiday season in Salem, so fans won’t want to miss a moment of the action. Be sure to tune in to Days of Our Lives weekdays on NBC.
