Meghan Trainor, Charlie Puth Kiss: The 2015 AMAs Kiss Heard Around The Internet [Video]
Meghan Trainor and Charlie Puth shared another long kiss — and this time, it was a kiss at the 2015 AMAs that set social media on fire. It was the type of lengthy kiss that prompted folks to turn to the University of Google to learn if Trainor and Puth are an actual couple. Of course, with a lengthy and seemingly passionate yet sort of playful kiss lasting for quite a few seconds between Meghan and Charlie, it didn’t take long for the crowd to roar in reaction on the AMAs.

The videos of Meghan and Charlie’s kiss made pretty quickly on YouTube as well, with lots of copies of the Trainor and Puth kiss quickly being uploaded on the video-sharing site.
Merely typing the word “kiss” into Twitter turned up all sorts of reactions to Meghan and Charlie’s kiss. It wasn’t the first time Trainor and Puth kissed for the longest time, as reported by MTV. Apparently, Meghan and Charlie kissed at the end of the song “Marvin Gaye,” the same song that Trainor and Puth sang on the 2015 AMAs.
Such a seemingly passionate kiss would also lead folks to figure out if Meghan and Charlie are dating — either each other, or other people. According to MTV, Puth and Trainor are not dating in spite of that kiss.
As reported Heavy, Meghan and Charlie’s kiss set the stage and audience buzzing because the kiss was unexpected. The publication reports that Trainor was previously dating Nick Jonas’ assistant, Cory Andersen. However, Us reports that Meghan and Cory never dated, so there’s apparently no reason for Andersen to worry about that kiss with Puth.
The kiss between Puth and Trainor continued to be the buzz of the 2015 AMAs well after their song ended. As Luke Bryan got on stage, after beating out guys like Sam Hunt and Jason Aldean to win the award for Best Country Male Artist, Bryan mentioned that he was still thinking about the kiss between Meghan and Charlie as well.
In terms of Puth having a girlfriend, there’s not a lot of information on Charlie’s romantic status. Puth did have a crush on Kendall Jenner, reported MTV.
Not only did Charlie and Meghan kiss, but Puth made a show of putting his hands on Trainor’s “bass” of a behind, as seen in the above full body photo of the duo heating up the stage. The American Music Awards were held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday, November 22, in Los Angeles, and plenty of musical stars showed up for the event.
After the kiss heard ’round the net, stars like One Direction performed their new song “Perfect,” and Sam Hunt won an award for Best New Artist. Not all fans were impressed with Trainor and Puth’s kiss, although the kiss left others longing for a kiss just like it — and they expressed such feelings on social media.
Puth was previously linked with Selena Gomez — a woman who put on a bang-up performance of “Same Old Love” on the AMAs — but Selena made sure to let the world know that Charlie was merely her friend, as reported by Hollywood Life.
Others are pontificating whether such a long kiss between Puth and Trainor means the duo are dating, and whether the kiss at the AMAs was their coming out announcement as a couple.
