Khloe Kardashian Blasts ‘Disgusting’ Paparazzi For Chasing Her To Staph Infection Appointment

Khloe Kardashian had some strong words for the paparazzi on Sunday after she claimed that they chased her while she was on her way to an appointment with an infectious disease doctor.

In a series of very angry tweets, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, Khloe Kardashian, details how the paps tailed her vehicle and were driving dangerously while doing so, going so far as to run red lights and cut her off, Gossip Cop reports.

“What scum paps are!!! I am on my way to an infectious disease doctor and they cut me off while driving, run red lights, tailing me for pictures,” Khloe tweeted to her followers. “They make it even more difficult for me to drive when I’m already as weak as it is. How [expletive] disgusting.”

People Magazine reports that Khloe is currently in treatment for a staff infection she contracted while supporting her husband, Lamar Odom, who has been a patient at the Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles for weeks now.

According to MedicineNet, the term staph infection or Staphylococcus refers to a group of bacteria that can cause a long list of diseases. They can cause these diseases in two ways: either through direct infection or through the production of toxins that attack the body. Staphylococcus has been known to cause impetigo, boils, toxic shock syndrome, and cellulitis. A staph infection can be fatal if it isn’t treated properly. But Khloe Kardashian says she is getting the treatment that she needs and is expected to make a full recovery, People Magazine reports.

“Staph infection is no joke,” she tweeted on Saturday. “Mine was exacerbated by stress which is not a great combo. I’m under great medical care & receiving tons of love!”

The staph infection caused Khloe to cancel promotional appearances for her first book, Strong Looks Better Naked. The book chronicles Khloe’s struggles with weight loss and self acceptance and also offers insights on life lessons she’s picked up along the way.

It’s common for people to pick up staff infections at hospitals, so it comes as no surprise that Khloe caught it. As many media outlets have reported, she has been a regular visitor to the hospital ever since her husband Lamar Odom was admitted during his health crisis in October.

But due to the fact that she’s currently being treated for the staff infection, Khlow wont be able to visit Lamar Odom at all. Sources close to the 31-year-old reality star say she’s pretty upset about that.

“She is so frustrated by the fact that she was doing something good,” the alleged source told People Magazine. “And then this happens.”

Lamar Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel in early October. He was rushed to hospital where doctors found that he had suffered a multiple organ failure. This was reportedly a result of a consuming cocaine and herbal sexual enhancement pills. In addition to his ongoing health crisis, The Associated Press reports that Lamar Odom may face charges for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Khloe Kardashian, who married Lamar in 2009, recently opened up during an interview on The Today Show on what it was like to learn that her estranged husband was so ill.

During the interview, Khloe revealed that she was initially told that Lamar only had four hours to live.

“It’s a horrible call to get,” she told The Today Show’s Natalie Morales. “Getting to the hospital and knowing he’s in a coma and having to run these tests or make medical decisions. It’s terrifying.”

Fortunately, Lamar beat the odds and woke up from the coma, although there are fears that he may have permanent brain damage and impaired brain and speech functions.

“He is learning how to walk again and learning… cognitive therapy and speech therapy,” Khloe Kardashian said. “They think, like, within a year and a half to two years that, mentally, he might be fully recovered. But they don’t know.”
