Jennifer Lawrence Relaxes, Enjoys A Slice Of London (And Pizza) After ‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2’ Promo Tour

Jennifer Lawrence may be busy starring in other upcoming movies, but she can finally relax now that the ongoing promo tour for Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 has finally ended.

Jennifer Lawrence has proved many times over that she’s just like the rest of us. But, she’s far from it. Lawrence has a reported net worth of $60 million, $52 million of which she earned last year. The 25-year-old actress has been enjoying the London life after promoting the final Hunger Games installment. According to The Mirror, Lawrence has her eye on a penthouse in the Mayfair area. An alleged insider told the British newspaper that she’s already made inquiries about the apartment, which offers panoramic views of the city.

“This place is absolutely incredible – the other person who has looked at it is a well known pop star, but it offers everything an A-lister would want. It is incredibly stylish, modern and completely secluded at the top of a tall building – with the 24 hour concierge, security and complete privacy.”

The insider also went on to say that Jennifer’s alleged new pad has four bedrooms, a gym, and a terrace that goes around the top floor of the building, which provides 360-degree views of London. The apartment comes with a hefty price tag of £10 million or $15 million U.S. dollars. Lawrence is one of Hollywood’s hottest actresses at the moment and one of its most-paid actresses, as well.

Jennifer has been seen relaxing after the non-stop promotional tour for Mockingjay Part 2. The Hunger Games star stepped out in a makeup-free look in New York City on Friday, Nov. 20, according to the Daily Mail. Jennifer kept herself warm in the chilly Manhattan weather with a gray beanie and black leather coat with shearling trim. She paired her casual look with black jogging pants, a slouchy black leather studded handbag, and black suede booties. Jennifer covered her eyes with dark sunglasses, likely because she looked more tired than usual.

If Lawrence appeared tired it was with good reason. The busy actress traveled to China, Spain, Germany, London, and then back and forth in the U.S. On that chilly morning, Lawrence also said her final goodbyes to her Hunger Games co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth. But, it won’t likely be forever. This threesome will probably see each other again, as they look so close in their interviews and social media photos.

Hemsworth shared a sweet snapshot of the trio hugging with the caption, “Sad this #MockingjayPart2 journey has come to an end.”

Jennifer Lawrence may have had to say goodbye to her co-stars, but she’s probably looking forward to getting some much-needed rest. She told Conan O’Brien that she was so excited to get one night of rest during her promo tour that she nearly dislocated her toe.

“This was my first night of sleep…the best night of sleep the whole tour I got was on the plane. It was about 12 hours and I actually dislocated my toe. I dislocated my toe by hitting my own foot.”

Not only did she enjoy a slice of London, but she probably enjoyed a good slice of pizza. Earlier this month, Jennifer proved to Vogue that she just wants to take off her bra and eat pizza sometimes. That’s probably the first thing the Oscar-winner did once she returned home from her Mockingjay Part 2 promo tour.

She asked interviewer Jonathan Van Meter if they could cancel their dinner reservations and order in a pizza instead. Once he responded with a resounding, “yes,” Jennifer exclaimed, “Oh thank God, I can take off my bra” and tossed it aside on her bed. According to the Vogue interview, Jennifer ordered a large pizza with pepperoni and jalapeno with ranch dressing on the side. She also revealed what she’s looking forward to doing during her down time.

“Hang out. Drink wine. I’ve got a bunch of friends who live really close, thank God. And I’ve made friends with Mila and Ashton two doors down. They’re awesome.”

Ever since Jennifer Lawrence starred in The Hunger Games saga and Winter Bone, she’s gone on to roles in the X-Men franchise, Silver Linings Playbook, and American Hustle. Her next film, Joy, opens on Christmas Day. Lawrence will also star in Passengers, a sci-fi film with Chris Pratt.

After her acting career dies down, Lawrence reveals that she wants to work behind the camera and direct movies instead.
