‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers: Glenn Is Alive, But Ron Puts Carl Grimes’ Life At Risk In ‘TWD’ Finale

In the latest The Walking Dead spoilers, Glenn Rhee is alive with a little help from Enid, but Ron Anderson may put Carl Grimes’ life in danger during the mid-season TWD Season 6 finale.

[Update] This spoiler was obviously confirmed by the recent episode, but has The Walking Dead jumped the shark? In a recent interview, Steven Yeun also discussed the future with Enid.

In a related report by the Inquisitr, at the end of the last Walking Dead episode, a voice was heard over the radio, and many fans thought it might be evidence that Glenn is alive. But, Norman Reedus was quick to put any The Walking Dead rumors to rest.

“I will say that voice is not Glenn,” said Reedus. “It’s not Glenn. But it’s probably somebody at Alexandria with all we know that’s happening there.”

While many have debated whose voice was heard over the radio, The Spoiling Dead Fans claims it was Eugene crying out for help.

“The voice coming over the radio at the end of ‘Always Accountable’ is none other than Eugene! As the walkers flood the safe zone in the mid season finale, Eugene radios for help!” Spoiling Dead Fans claimed.

The Spoiling Dead Fans also checked one of the many Walking Dead spoilers with one of their “sources” and they claim the following synopsis of TWD Season 6, Episode 7 from IMDb is accurate.

“Glenn’s alive, just like a lot of people expected. He crawled under the dumpster, killed some walkers to block out the others with the dead bodies, and then waited until they disappeared. The intestines we’ve seen being ripped out are indeed from Nicholas.”

Some TWD fans will probably not be very happy if this is indeed the way Glenn survives his close brush with death. Already, fans are saying the show is “jumping the shark” if they allow Glenn to escape in this manner; although, others simply find it funny that the memes surrounding this escape plan came to be true.

Regardless, other fans will probably be satisfied, especially since Enid is apparently making a comeback tour with Glenn. The two apparently meet up and Enid offers him water, although she does not want him staying around. But, Glenn talks Enid into returning to Alexandria with him, so it is believed, “Enid takes the place of comic Sophia as Glenn and Maggie’s foster child.” Their part in the story ends when they arrive at Alexandria and see their home surrounded by the giant zombie herd.

Carl Grimes’ Eye Fated To Be Shot?

In the original story told by The Walking Dead comic books, the leader of Alexandria was a man named Douglas Monroe. This character was swapped out with Deanna Monroe, but the differences between the two visions of TWD don’t end with a gender swap.

In issue 83, Douglas is wildly shooting a gun in an attempt to provide cover for Carl and Rick Grimes. The zombies overtake Douglas, biting him multiple times, and he stops firing his weapon. Rick then asks everyone nearby if they are okay, but when Carl does not answer Rick looks down and see that his son has been accidentally shot in the head by Douglas.

Since the character Douglas does not exist in the TWD TV series, rumors suggest that this scene will either be changed or scrubbed. But, the evidence does seem to suggest that Carl loses an eye since leaked photos of Chandler Riggs, the actor who plays Carl, showed him wearing a bandage over the same eye that was lost in the comic.

The latest The Walking Dead spoilers also claim Douglas may not be the shooter who puts Carl’s life in danger. In a recent episode, Ron Anderson and Carl brawl after fighting over whether Carl should attempt to find Enid. After the fight is over, Ron speaks to Rick, telling him what happened, but he also asks Rick to teach him how to use a gun.

In TWD Episode 7, Rick and Carl show Ron how to use a gun but don’t want to give him bullets, so Ron steals ammo. The cliffhanger ending shows the watchtower tumbling over, which sets up events for Episode 8, the Walking Dead’s finale for the mid-season. Alexandria is being overrun; Rick and his group attempt to cover ponchos in zombie guts in order to work their way through the zombie herd to safety.

The comic and the TV series will probably agree on one detail at this point: Jessie Anderson’s death scene happens shortly before Carl is shot. In the comics, Ron is caught by the zombies and devoured, so Jessie refuses to leave and grabs onto Carl’s hand. She is also over overtaken by the undead, but when Rick demands that she release Carl, she refuses. In response, Rick uses his axe to chop off Jessie’s hand and free Carl.

In the TV version, it is possible Ron’s death will be substituted for by Sam. Jessie will still respond to Sam’s death by grabbing onto Carl, but after Rick chops of her arm it is rumored that a very angry Ron will attempt to use his secret stash of bullets in order to kill Rick.

Carl realizes the danger his father is in and responds by jumping into the line of fire, getting his eye shot out in the process. With Ron being wildly out of control, Michonne kills Ron in order to defend everyone else. At this point, Rick apparently goes absolutely crazy and starts killing walkers since he thinks his son is dead.
